Same issue a year later and this information was crucial. Thank you everyone hwo helped me figure this out.

Unfortunately none of these options helped.

I've completely erased all the mods and I've done a clean install of Bannerlord. When I launch it through nexus, it doesn't freeze, but when I launch it through steam, the game crashes.

Game keeps completely freezing on campaign map when clicking to move anywhere. Game music continues to play even when the game is frozen. It does not CTD and I can't close it via steam. I have to go to the task manager and close bannerlord.

Mouse studders slowly across the screen while frozen in game. Steam overlay shows 46fps (obviously incorrect).

Task manager shows bannerlord is using of 45% memory at over 2100 MB. Also shows its using 14% cpu usage. Shows 30% gpu usage. Power usage shows very high.

No error message is shown after freezing.

Escort caravan quest bugged a long time prior to this incident. The caravan disappeared after a battle. Unsure if this is related to freezing.

Started bannerlord in safe mode. Same outcome.

Verified game files, same outcome.

Updated drivers yielded interesting result. When bannerlord freezes, gpu goes from nearly 50% down to 0% usage, according to the task manager. Memory and cpu remain the same as before.

After closing bannerlord via task manager, cpu and memory return to normal.

The problem is, they've installed a nice, new mechanic, I'm just waiting for them to tighten the bolts a bit.

If you click the icon on the bottom middle (shows the time of day). It will orientated the map north and you can get your direction that way. Although, I do agree that a simple compass would be much simpler.

I'm playing 1.6.5 beta and I've noticed the same thing. I played three tournaments in a row with 4 or more nobles, and all three times the reward was a camel.

That's not an argument. Just because no one else had done it, doesn't mean TW didn't do a terrible job.

Big battles would be great if the devs were actually talented.

Nice addition, but they need to fix its bugs ASAP.
