Yes and no - I tried it several times and sometimes Discord was enabled whereas sometimes I did not even start Discord at all

Hey there, so I am able to start the game again. I don't know how exactly I managed to do that, but it seems it was connected to my drivers (probably GPU). I did reset the drivers, updated them and tried this like 2-3 times and the problem disappeared for some reason.

Unfortunately, after some time I was able to play the game I now face some severe connection problems due to unknown reason. As this is another thing, I may open another thread on it as the original issue is solved. Thanks anyway!

Quite remarkable. Can't help but notice how half the board's descended from some Turkish bey, A Mongolian khan or an undefined European house of nobility. Why, we've got a higher noble-rate than the House of Lords!

I would take a halberd!
A good and versatile weapon! I can keep enemys at distance and have a long range radius to hit targets.
I can simply kill horses and riders with the spike and I am able to kill  unarmored as well as armored targets with the axe blade

Well the numbers you pulled were in the same order and formatted the same way that they are in Wikipedia, so I just assumed you merely copy&pasted it from there. It's absurdly common - people skim a Wiki article and think they are experts on a topic.

Nope! I did not simply copied the Wikipedia numbers! I checked the numbers from Wiki, "Spiegel", "UZ", Osprey, Military University Potsdam and Catherine Meridale against each other, and came to the solution that "Spiegel" and Osprey have maybe some wrong numbers  and Catherine Meridale and the Military University of Potsdam are very close together, but I choose the Wikipedia numbers, because they were the newest! Also Wiki never mentioned the Brigade commanders.
It is funny that you said I just copied it, because that means that even you looked on Wikipedia

But they ruled sizable portions of Russia at one point or another. Due to them, neither the Reds nor Whites could claim to actually control all the territories they claimed as their power extended only as far as their guns had superior firepower against the Greens. Sure, they were doomed to fail in the end but claiming that they were irrelevant is ridiculous.

I never said that they were irrelevant I only said I focus on the 2 main parties! Yes, they were many in numbers, but bad organized and they had also not such good equipment than the other war parties
There was also nearly no war party which was irrelevant! Just think about Roman of Ungern Sternberg!

The executions mostly only touched the most senior commanders - Marshalls, Admirals, senior Generals. In lower officer ranks dismissal was more common. So when you say "many were killed", it should include that caveat - since "many" officers out of the total number were not killed but "many" senior officers out of the total number of senior officers were executed. It's an extremely common misconception that the Great Purge killed majority of the officers of the Red Army, which it certainly did not.

I focus on the two main parties in this war, there were more armies than you and I mentioned, of course!

No they certainly were not. Majority of the purged officers were merely kicked out of the Red Army. Over a third of those were reinstated by 1939 and the rest were reinstated by 1942. While the Purge did hit the senior leadership hard, these were replaced by competent younger officers that the Soviet military academies were producing.

If by "the only real opponent" you mean someone who has army only slightly smaller than your own, then yes. And the further to the east the more supported the whites were. It is not like people were all for bolsheviks, most of them actually didn't care that much in the early parts of war.

Yeah, sry, I overstated! But all in all the statistics are heavy!
3 of 5 marshals , 13 of 15 army commanders, 8 of 9 admirals, 50 of 57 army corps commanders, 154 out of 186 division commanders, 221 of 397 Brigade comanders, 16 of 16 army commissars, and 25 of 28 army corps commissars were removed and/or killed.
Also nearly the half of the officiers were killed.


The liberals had never a  base of many supporters, especially not after their continuation of the war or their economic policy.
They nearly changed nothing, they also did not improve the supply system, so the people still starved! Most of the huge cities in Russia were in the hands of the Bolshewiks, yes in the far east most of the population supported the Tsar, and also in the South, many cossacks were on the side of the white army or other ethnic minorities who saw the chance to get independendt after the collapse of the Russian Empire, but all in all, cities like Moscow or Petrograd and other central positions in Russia were under controll of the worker unions and the Bolshewiks. 

I watched just the trailer, but i think this movie is a bit unobjective...
The historical topic is very interesting, but after I watched the trailer, I tought it was a little bit over the top, a bit sensational, in the negative way, in Germany we wold say "reißerisch".
At first I should maybe say that I am a Communist-Socialist , a classic Marxist-Leninist, with some african or latin american influences.
I like and admire Lenin, but all in all I also see his negative sites. The UDSSR was not a good attempt to introduce Socialism, there are many good aspects in Lenins UDSSR, but also many bad aspects. Unfortunately there  is not really much good literature or movies about this topic. In my opinion Stalin destroyed the rest of the good aspects of the UDSSR, he killed nearly all of Lenins friends and the veterans of the revolution, he killed 95% of the military staff of the Red Army, he did one of the most bad economic reforms, seen in the world, so millions died, and in the war he did nearly nothing, Zhukov and the Red Army won it, not he! After the war he killed the Cossacks and Tartars and suppressed the jews. All in all his period destroyed the whole thing. The problem in World media is that there are only movies or books which portray Stalin as an Angel or as a demon, both is wrong, there is really need of a good book or movie about him, which analyses him.
I criticize Lenin for his hunt for the liberals. Their politics were stupid, yes, because they did just nearly the same policy as the Tsar, but it was wrong to kill them all, there was no need in it, just unnecessary cruelty, the mass of the people supported the Soviets, there were only some who supported the liberals, the only real opponent were the monarchists and reactionaries who build up the White Army. But there are many good things about Lenin, he was very intelligent, he abolished the racial society which existed in Russia for centuries, he destroyed the Tsardom, he removed  the exploiting economic system, also he ended the War on the East front etc. etc.
I can understand people who do not like socialism or communism, and I criticize it too, because as a socialist/communist , it is my duty to look for my own mistakes and errors.
All in all it is important to see everything objective, but sadly this is nearly impossible, it is just not human.
I will watch the movie, if I have enough time for it.
