    It's still prohibitive early on, IMO. The length of time it takes to train a Bondi to Companion, for example, makes it almost irrelevant given the chance of dying in a battle. I've found it's more expedient to keep a smallish group and hunt down groups of crippled Vikings to recruit their tier 3 or even sometimes 4 prisoners than actually go through the trouble of training and fighting for weeks to get 2 guys leveled only to die in the next fight.

    This is on normal; it is visibly faster than the original version but troop advancement - again, at least early on - has become a nonfactor in my strategy since it's a vast investment with too little return.

    :arrow: We adjusted the animation (including the helmet!)
    :arrow: There are a series of possible bonus to increase your % of sucess now

    • Expanded hitboxes. Easier to hit now!
    • Bonus if you are mounted!
    • Player (only) bonus from stats and skills!
    • Bonus from weapons!

    Example: a player can get up to 50% chance when mounted

    I have been finding it a lot less ridiculous to enter a fight personally. It's nice to not have to stand in the back and watch my troops fight. If there is and expanded hit box then that has made a huge gameplay difference for me. I'm guessing that is why single bandit leaders no longer mow down a dozen tier 2 and 3 troops on their own when surrounded, or why I can actually stab them over my troops shields. Best change so far for me if that was it.

    If it has nothing to do with actually landing a hit and just gore chance then I don't know really; I've noticed more heads rolling about but it actually seems a bit comical rather than grisly.

    auto save is now disabled on Storyline (new game) to prevent some old issues. You can use it on Sandbox games.

    Sorry if this was addressed somewhere, couldn't find it with searches - the "Realistic" save function from vanilla isn't present where I expected it and can't find it anywhere - is this removed in Reforged? Did the "Full Realism" mode and don't see it there either, have "Save" enabled instead of just "Save and Quit"?
