I figured it out today. The "Prize" column is how many victories you have (it's bugged). I'm now 2 wins away from #1 and getting better rewards (mostly horses I cant use yet, but sell for 1-2k each). I did see a hysterical message when I spoke to a lord that essentially said; "Default message for great fame. Working on it." Really made me laugh.

I've been playing the game for about 6 hours and only have done tournaments. Thats what I've always done when starting a campaign in Warband. I've had some decent prize's that sold for 3k, but my rank is still 12. This is something I'm assuming and hoping the dev's are currently working on enhancing.

It seems your gear and playing style is good enough to stop tournaments, even though it's a great way to gain money. Get into a huge battle, it will be more challenging. The AI isn't that good however, I personally like circling the enemy and raising my archery/riding skill. I've only played Bannerlord for about 6 hours and haven't been in a huge battle yet to see if it more challenging than Warband. However, when the cavalry comes, you probably wont be able to just circle them anymore.

I too have the same question. I've scoured the internet trying to figure this out, to no avail. I know I've won multiple tournaments at the same location, but it saying I only have 1 win and I'm rank 12. Is this still a work in progress?

I heard the, potentially, fantastic news and a closed beta may open to a select few. As I understand that this initial closed beta, from what I read, is going to be focused with online and very limited people will gain access, as this is still to "work out the bugs". Even though I've played Warband for almost 700 hours and still playing it (I know people have played it more than I have), this is BY FAR my favorite game of all time...period. I'm not expecting to be a part of this closed beta, whenever that may happen. However, I hope that people that have an absolute love for this game, like myself, will eventually be able to test it out and provide their insight to the good and bad things about the game.

I know everyone in this post has been waiting a LONG TIME for this game. I'm 1000% on board with the developers taking their time (please don't make me wait another 7 years, I'm itching to play it ), as it will have less bugs and overall, the game will be a much better in the long haul (patience is a virtue).
