It Prioritizes this way- Companion, Non-Calvary top of list. Calvary shouldn't ever be picked for it.

Just confirmed, same issue on Aserai. Now I need to check other benefits, as most of them aren't too noticeable.

I'm pretty sure it prioritizes companions first, then top troops on the list. I'd have to do another hideout to confirm, but this has been my experience.

I actually have one very similar to this- The quest is showing right after I picked it up -4 days to complete. Meaning, as soon as I leave the town it will fail. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me, the first time I had maybe an hour like OP. I was able to complete the quest once without issue. Then the next two times it times out immediately.
