Yep, just started a new game on latest Beta, Tannery I got in Sibir(SP) is only making 85 after 2 weeks, cant even cover the 21 tier 2 archers I have. Last game I started on new Beta acted different, made a few hundred after a week, not sure if they threw in a patch or not.

Sorry but that one example is well just one. Same beta numerous starts will get ya different outcomes, regardless of what a city has and or gets from near by resources.

Yes, I just check to make sure Im still quartermaster. My companion can still hold 96 troops but troops disappear every time I kick the rest of the army out. Whenever I start a new party I keep that companion with me to level up troops and keep a load of prisoners' with me to replenish there troops if they lose some. I then set them out when they have all high tier units and train the next one. Ill have to dig into more but I went back to old saves 3 times to try and figure it out.

Khuzaits have always been pretty good. My current play on 1.4.1 at day 352? I believe. No more sturgians, Battanians and no more Southern Empire. All wiped. Khuzaits took the 4 closest Sturgian cities and all close castles. Then took 2 cities from southern and now taking from Vlandians and Western. Western is also huge helping wipe out the Southern and battians, Vlandia helped wipe out Sturgia and the battanians. I started the game to help sturgia but they were down to 1 city day 202. So yea Khuzaits seem to be bad asses now. But in all but one play thru I use khuzaits cav archers, they just rock.

(edited) Agree, if im leader focused I lose most of other traits. I tend to focus on leader, tactics and stewardship. And lean others in battle. But leadership is hard if you dont start heavy in it at first, Cant level up until later game. Opp's, an edit misread, not that early in the tree, 75 earliest.

If you created your own kingdom try and go to another ones leader that has a daughter(I assume your a male in game) suggest a alliance through marriage. I have not done but plan on trying next game. May work? was going to this game but had kingdoms declare on me before I had a fief. Which was a first. But the option did pop up for me, just lead no where because I assume I wasn't a king or had heirs at the time.

This happens to me all the time. I believe when an army is called they all blindly just go. I believe the AI only holds a certain amount of food and gets more when they get to a certain point. So when they join army they have limited food and run out because AI just loves wondering and changing directions all the time before actually taking anything.
So when I call an army I buy a ton of food if I plan on using them to take a few places.

Forgot something, If I am sitting in my castle and hit let time time go by and a leader calls me to army, my troops leave to join but I am still stuck in view of castle not knowing my troops left, happened yesterday then i get a popup of battle. My troops ran into a huge force. All this while I thought I was letting time go by sitting castle healing up....
