A concept for a mod that I had was a mod similar to Full Invasion.

-The idea is that it is a cooperative game where players fight off waves of bots. (Sounds identical right?)
-The unique thing is that there will be time between waves to go out into the map away from your defended position and collect resources in a similar style to that in Persistent World or similar mods.
-At certain intervals an NPC caravan would arrive. This is where you sell your resources and buy equipment.

The setting I was considering for this was Wild West, however it could be almost anything.
So if anyone had any thoughts or comments on it then I would greatly appreciate them.

Goooood fun. Can't wait for the full version to be released.
Venice is a fantastic change of pace and very intense but more custom maps are eagerly awaited.

I am starting to get quite offended by your attitude due to the fact you have been insulting me personally throughout your posts in this thread aswell as when you were in the server attempting to obtain my help.

I am not quite sure why you are attacking me personally and why you won't stop due to the fact that all I have done is apologise and tried to give reasons for why I failed you. However apparently according to the logs and a more mature admin you are in the wrong and I am in the right. However, regardless to this you continue to insult me eventhough a verdict of your guilt has been delivered by a head admin.

I am not sure what you hope to gain by repeating your original points and insulting me but I just want to say I have been nothing but courteous and you have been nothing but rude, ignorant and arrogant and I think that for the best this thread should be locked.

I wasn't "purposely being a douche bag" but I understand why you are angry about it.

I did not ignore you once, I simply did not see the chat as there were a lot of kills happening and chat aswell. Similarly I did not see those guys mocking you in chat for what I can only presume are similar reasons. Also I did not once tell you to "shut up".

And I am sorry about the first two being made by the same guy because I was not aware of the first one as it is generally assumed to be accidental and I was unaware it was the same guy.

However I did not pursue this after you left the server because these players involved stopped TKing aswell as the fact you went out on a negative.

Also the fact that you are insulting me when I am trying to be helpful and considerate is not doing you any favours.

I don't know why you are being so aggressive. I apologised and gave my reasons for why I was not delivering admin perfection.

You have offended me in no way whatsoever.

And for future reference, say your full complaint as opposed to saying admin because it generally saves time for all involved.

Okay I can see why you are upset but the way you dealt with it as you have admitted was wrong.
I will apologise for not being as attentive to your situation as I should have been, however there were a lot of people on the server therefore it was hard for me to see who was TKing you everytime.

However, TKing me was 100% the wrong action to take.

Regarding the incident with people on the roof, I did not instantly slay them. I asked for the player to get off the roof and he refused in chat claiming that it was okay. Due to him refusing to get down I slayed him as it was clear he was not going to listen to me.

Also it may seem like I was enforcing the rules that I wanted to, however I was enforcing rules when and if I was able to, which is a big difference to what you claim.

Again I will apologise for not being attentive enough to your situation.

I will now let a head admin decide how to deal with this.

Sorry if I failed to be 100% helpful. There were a lot of players online and it isn't the best system to admin with, especially with that many people. I know I missed a lot of TKs but I can't just slay everyone for one TK. I have to have seen it which as I just said is very difficult with so many players. Otherwise the accidental TKs would be slayed.
Also I don't know if you misread it or I mistyped it but what I was trying to say was "Do not TK for ANY reason."

Another reason why it took so long to get around to replying to you was that there were a couple of issues going on at the time that I was trying to deal with and focusing on. So I apologise again for not being able to do enough for you.

I have a suggestion for everyone that whole heartedly disagrees with this thread.

Go and play cavalry for the next 7 days on NW without playing infantry. This includes linebattles and public play. Also feel free to play cavalry on other mods or just native and get a comparison of the difficulty. After doing that for 7 days you will experience what we do and at least have some kind of empathy with cavalry players.

All I ask is that you give cavalry a PROPER play through for a few days without playing infantry.

I agree with those things, but maybe the bayonet needs a reduction in speed rather than damage, therefore bayonet vs bayonet fights wouldn't be so... strange.

I am not sure how you would go about doing this but a suggestion for changes would be making Hussars, Cuirassiers effective at swinging on horseback but not so effective on foot in melee. However making Dragoons better on foot and weaker on horseback, so the reverse. I imagine a way to do this is reduced dragoon riding skill, but an increase in dragoon accuracy with guns (firearm skill) would be good.
This is just my opinion, dictated by my experience.


Oh and another point, it would be great if people can just post their suggestions for changes and for this 'discussion' to finally end as all the attacks on other people's opinions and suggestions is becoming boring, repetitive and spammy.
