    Price changes since latest patch

    Are you playing on 1.4.2? I've noticed since the new beta, this is a common issue. I actually think the economy is working as intended. I think the reason for the drastic change is introduced because of the fix to wars/truce periods. The prices are somehow based on the number of goods going in/out of the town. But the big difference I think is sieges/wars would cause a lot of resources in a town to be consumed. Now that there are far fewer wars, towns seem to have an abundance of goods at all times. Making it super easy to buy 'low' but difficult to find towns that are willing to purchase at a higher price.

    Tight budget with 200 troops & 1 castle

    I ran into this a few times and sort of resolved to stay within my budget by not upgrading my troops every time an upgrade is available. I keep my troops to t3 and can still maintain a large army with much lower cost than if they were t4 or t5 and they seem to be only slightly less effective.

    to be honest i always choose the option „abstain from voting” for 0 influence and for me its working perfectly. Im avoiding castles until they offer me the one I want, so have no idea how to explain differences

    I also voted to abstain but was still rewarded with a castle that had a massive/costly garrison (~1000 denars/day) and no income from the castle while I only had 1 workshop with about 100 denars/day income. I was able to somewhat resolve the issue by moving all of the tier 3 and higher garrison troops to my party and then dismissing them, reducing the cost of the garrison down to about 200 denars/day which was at least manageable.

    To add to this thread, Vlandian Levy Crossbowmen are also incorrectly labelled as infantry.
    I didn't have this issue in 1.4.1 but I'm now using BETA 1.4.2 and am experiencing this with the Vlandian Levy Crossbowman. Pretty annoying as when I forget to change after each load of a save game, my crossbows get slaughtered in the front line.
