Favorite Class: N/A as I am fairly new to WF&S. Sweden is my favorite faction though, as well as one of my favorite countries historically and in the present day (I hope to visit next summer), so I think it's a good fit . I'm new to WF&S but I've been around since M&B 1.011 and was in Warband beta as well. (Edit: Musket ftw! But I would feel comfortable playing any role really).

I'm around a good bit and was looking for an active group to join for scrims and such, would be awesome joining a Sweden-themed clan just starting up  . Not sure how active the competitive community is in M&B but it's something I've always wanted to get into.

For the boxed version, you have to run the installer the disc gives you and it'll install it for you on Steam, or something like that. Once you begin the download on Steam, there's a way that you can view the actual serial key (right click the game on the list in steam, should be one of the options) and from there you can get the actual serial key. Paste that into notepad and then you can use *that* on the taleworlds installer if you want.

Totally agree that the boxed version sucks. Nothing inside, some stupid insignificant number code inside to completely confuse you, steam warning is small as hell on the back of the box. </rant>

Edit: Reading your post a little more careful, it should install it for you on steam and it won't actually come out and give you the code at any time, unless you do what I said (there's a more coherent post on getting the serial key from Steam somewhere around here).

Double Edit: Nothing was supposed to be inside the box :\

I'm not running the Steam version but I do have the boxed version, and used the method to get mah serial key from Steam, but stiiiil I am running separate from Steam (version you get from taleworlds) so I don't think that would be the issue.

When do you plan on releasing the update?

The map still lags for me too, but just not as much, enough to be annoying though.

Wow, Fantastic. Coming from someone who is obsessed with vikings, I hope people utilize this pack. When I see horned helmets in mods it makes me want to tear my eyes out

Yeah I got it working. Just installed in the directory .955 was in. I was asking because I wasn't sure if it would still recognize my key.
