"Q: I can't start the game, since I get the following error just before the game is loaded: 'RGL shaders: Out of video memory', or a likewise error.
Strange but true: this error is caused by the amount of sound effects. If you get this error with the mod pack, it's best to revert back to the native sounds, or if you're running with Basic or Expanded you can try to use the Gameplay sounds. To do this, replace sounds.txt by the appropriate one. That's all."
My problem is... I don't even understand what he is saying there? What do I actually do to solve this problem? I am sort of bad when it comes to computers so maybe I just don't get it? Can anyone explain in a bit more detail of how I eliminate this problem. Thank you very much!
I am using the Floris Expanded. I am using a 32 bit system. I am getting pretty much the exact same error report as this "RGL shaders: Out of video memory" everytime I try and make a character and get to the final part after the character creation then I click continue and it crashes me to desktop. Tried it about 10 times now and same thing over and over.
Also, I do not think I clicked load textures on demand. At least not to my knowledge.
