    Is anyone else running into certain bushes on horseback and being completely stopped? I feel like there's a collision problem with those. Just showed up in the 1.4 beta.
    I don't have a screenshot, but they're medium sized bushes that are about as high as a horse's head.
    yea I've seen this problem as well, seems they have added collision boxes to certain bushes that previously did not exist

    The heavy infantry group causes troops to spawn behind the enemy in village battles, assuming it's a bug.

    Unfortunately this is how it works. Same applies for ranged units and all other. This causes blob on the battlefield. I think there should be some cap on how many units can target single one if there's another without any targetting it.
    Yea that's a good solution, I have no knowledge of the technical side of AI targeting but a limit of 5:1 or 3:1 per unit type would make it a lot better.

    Someone pointed this out on another thread, but it seems the biggest issue with this interaction is actually the AI targeting while in formation. All infantry units in a given line/shieldwall always target the first horse, leaving the other horses to charge right through.

    Actually they can but only the first rider approaching (literally all of them are targeting the first rider xD)
    That's a good point, I haven't done any in-depth testing it's just something I notice when I have a thicc line of spear-equipped infantry. They let most of the cav go right through without hitting them. Now that you mention it, they do stop the first horse most of the time.

    the problem with spears isn't the player using them, it's the fact that the AI spearmen cant hit a horse charging in their face 90% of the time.

    Couching spears is a decent idea, I'm just noticing that the spearmen tend to miss or do very little damage to either the horse or the person on the horse consistently. Archers on the other hand do a great job of shooting someone off their horse.

    Something that I've realized through my time playing bannerlord is that cavalry tends to just slip through ranks of infantry like butter, even with 4-5 lines of spearmen. I know its early and balance is still being adjusted, but I'd like to see an interaction where the cavalry charges are...

    As far as AI combat is concerned in the most recent update on beta branch, I can say that it has definitely improved a bit in the extremely high level troops (lords and elite infantry) as long as they are using shields. The two handed AI still doesn't block, and anything below the top tier units needs some serious teaching on how to block.
