  1. Mount and blade 2

    I didn't and don't plan to get F&S but i have 50 bucks set aside for the old formula and:
    .Better sound mixing and sound effects.
    .More robust graphics engine to handle more units.
    .Varied terrain rendering (procedural hamlet generation for instance)
    .Mob path-finding that takes trees and walls into account.

    I think the game has a lot of space for improvement.  Even some fluff like destructible walls, chariots, balista teams etc.
  2. Anyone figure out how to get marksmen to switch to a melee weapon?

    Probably the bestest solution is stopping equipping them with halberds to begin with.
    I'll miss that 'Vaegir Shjarpshooter' feel.  :mrgreen:

    The latin term 'Res Publica' doesn't directly mean 'Republic' although in some cases is translated as such.

    'King of the Republic' is as an antithesis as anything can be.  :lol:
  4. Anyone figure out how to get marksmen to switch to a melee weapon?

    I've been using mercenary musketeers with halberds, they are awesome because when the line gets swarmed by cavalry or pikemen the halberds can cut them down fast, alas they only change with F3-F1 for holding fire. Missing the timing for that command made me lose the battle a couple times.

    This needs fixing.

    Estou a trabalhar numa cena semelhante para uso caseiro, mas só pecebo de scripting, no entanto no meu ultimo mod caseiro tinha 'questgivers' nos castelos e capacidade de recrutar tropas nas cidades, se tiveres interessado nesse tipo de coisas posso dar uma mão.

    Like AvaRice said, this post isn't about the mod, i don't have any plans to make it public, for now i just show it to friends. If in the end it has any quality i'll make a post about it. Thanks for the link Wandersoul, i was unaware of that mod.

    Now i am surprised why no one accepted my chalenge to find in what a knight from praven will be diferent from one from rivancheg, or how the proximity to kergits whould influence jelkala's troops, and vice versa.

    Oh well worth the try.

    So i coded this mod where each city in calradia has her own army and faction. Each faction can recruit one troop tree, without branches, from vilage, castle and town. Already coded it for two cities and designed for two more but as i'm very much a newbie in calradia lore i'm having troubles...
