    Seems becoming a vassal, isn't all that cracked up.
    just become a mercenary for a faction.
    You will still build rep with those whom you fight for
    At the end of 30 days, you are independent with no penalty.
    You can then go take a weak castle and start your kingdom
    or mercenary for another 30 days working on renown and honor.

    I ran across the Vikings DLC and was excited to get back into Mount and Blade. I have played it since the very first version. Seeing the DLC still needs some love, I am going to wait. So I thought I play some WarBand. Question is what version should I use?  I'm not big on using mods with...

    8 Go to Reyvadin, sell Iron and possible buy some food as they will often have cheap dried meat
    9 Go to Curaw and get the Iron.

    Whats great about this route is has some simple big profit items and also hits three capital cities where Kings are likely to be holding feasts.


    Good trade route, but I would change 7 to this

    7. Go to shariz, sell Wine (it can go for 300+ easy here,) buy flax and salt
    8. Dhirim, sell flax, buy Iron,
    9. Reyvadin, sell iron,
    10. Curaw

    Tweakmb is warband compatible.
    The sinking in the ground is not from tweakmb, but from the siege mod that adds an extra ladder.

    I finished a claimant quest last night with 1.110
    you can move your minister with 1.110 as well

    Patch works fine with a current save game.

  10. supporting some one else for the throne?

    it can get you started.
    you still have to convert lords to your cause.
    but you have to convince them not about your claim to the crown but the claimants
    which is easier to do.
    now with a couple lords, you will build rep with them while fighting alongside of them
    and if you take a castle/town you get to reward it, even to yourself.
    Would be nice once finished you have a town and a castle to start with when you begin your right to rule.

  12. Siege ladder/Tower issue fixed! With L&R Siege Pack

    The landscape is messed up on the the nord towns (castles are fine) with this mod.
  13. Insane amount of Bandits - very different from M&B "Classic"

    tweakmb lets you control how many bandit groups spawn and how long till respawn (default is every 36 hour)
