  1. Fable

    *paff*

Arx Fatalis is nice, free roam, although it is all inside a big dungeon, but very nice.

By the way, has anyone here tried Divinity II: Ergo Draconis?
  2. Warband in 3d is amazing! NOW WITH 3D SCREENSHOTS!

But if I am not mistaken, photos can be taken for stereoscopic view. I'd like to see one example or another.

Isn't that sword impossible to wield? Seems like the guard is on the way...

I suppose that's true, Khergit bows are indeed small, and best left carried that way. However, since there is no reference in the picture, we can't really say if his bow is big or small. I wonder if it's for some mod though.

Besides, since when were bows carried in a cover-holster?

Do you play Mount and Blade? Very often you can see the Khergit carrying their bows like that. But I agree with Rath0s, I think one would be hard pressed to a design like that.
Anyway, I love the detail on the heads at the tip of the bow.
  6. Masterwork Weapons

Completely random, you may find a masterwork bow in a rhodok city, or a masterwork crossbow in a nordic city or any other thing at any other town, anything can appear anywhere. Visit the weapon merchant regularly, since they list their wares by price, masterwork weapons (and lordly armor for the armor guy) usually come on top.

Masterwork weapons can also appear after regular battles, like getting a masterwork khergir bow from fighting lots of khergit troops, of the occasional masterwork sword or longbow from bandits. However, since no army carries top of the line equipment, like the sword of war, plate armor (sword sister do, ok, but still, they're too rare), war bow, bastard sword, etc, the chances of getting one from war are none, let alone a masterwork version. For these pieces of equipment you have to go look in towns. The most expensive piece of equipment in native is the lordly plate armor by the way, which goes for in between 100k and 150k denars if I remember correctly, so if you've got more than that, you're set.

Masterwork->Blanced/heavy->standard. I think there is a wiki somewhere explaining it, but no idea where to find that. Excercize your google-fu in this matter, young grasshopper.

The said wiki is exactly the one posted in the OP. In fact, the link given points to the page talking about the order of progression on the weapon modifiers.
  8. Zendar

Zendar doesn't exist because it wouldn't make much sense in the game world, being always independent and all, as if it was cut from the rest of Calradia.
There are, however, two guys who can pay you ransoms over your prisioners. They can be found on the tavern at random cities.
Ramun, the slave trader from Zendar can now be found on Tihr's tavern.

    Yes, he killed it.

    Ups, sorry

  11. Post your Dream Women Mk.2

There seems to be a visible nipple on that image, you may want to take it off/censor it.
  12. Ive been thinking

    America's Army,
    Arma,
    Arma II,
    Operation Flashpoint,
    Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising,
    Rainbow Six: Raven Shield,
    SWAT 3,
    SWAT 4,
    Sniper Elite,
    Brothers in Arms series

    Take a pick.

EDIT: I haven't played sniper elite, so I suppose it might not be realistic like the rest, but since it simulates the use of a sniper so well, I guess it deserves a special mention.

Select the ones you see, the ones on the inside. You have to see, that you can only have these faces viewable from one side orthe other. To have walls on the inside and outside, you'll have to duplicate the geometry, invert one and leave the other one. As you stand now, you have the inverted side already.
  14. Help a newbie?

Sometimes that happens, a companion can go for a long time without appearing, and even the travelers won't have their location. It can sometimes last for a long time, but eventually any companion that left your group can be found again at some tavern.

How did you make the walls? The only thing that occurs to me is that when you have a solid, it's walls are invisible from the inside, but not from the outside. That happens to reduce the complexity of the model and it has to do with the orientation of the normals* to the surface. It would happen if you for example made a cilinder and decided to delete it's bases, you would find out that the inner side of each wall seems to not exist.
Anyway, a way to fix it fast, even for that case, would be to clone the walls and invert it's normals, on 3ds max there is a modifier that does that fast, don't know about wings3d, but if you look for "normals" you should find something.

*In mathematical literature, normals would be vectors perpendicular to a given entity, in this case surface. However in 3d modelling, one can manipulate their orientation to modify the way light reacts with the surface related to the normal.
