Yes, but the AI never does this, so they're pushovers when not being controlled by the player.
My advice, take Uhhun Castle and Narra. The castle will be--by
far--the worst of it, as it requires a siege tower, and is a beast to take. (See
this recent thread where I go into more detail.) Once you have that castle, stuff it full of defensive troops and then take Narra. Now move most of your troops to Narra, since it's much easier to take, and leave a small, mostly ranged contingent in Uhhun Castle. It will act as a "honeypot," attracting besiegers away from Narra and grinding them up on the walls.
That's how I usually do it when starting on that side of the map!
