This is a Danish Great Axe:
I remember someone saying (on an arms and armour forum) that bardiches may have evolved out of the Danish Great/War Axe, but that would probably have been later than the 13th C.
13th C. axes would be somewhat more advanced (mostly in cross section) than the Danish axe, I think, but look basically similar. Especially as game models.

Personally, I would go with simple glaives, maybe halberds. Very simple bills of the agricultural type for the peasants would give them a good variety instead of lots and lots of pitchforks.
