  1. poll: Garrison size

A big garrison accumuate in an unbesieged (is there such a word?!) town over a long time. When a faction captures a town/castle, the garrison starts out weak and gets stronger in time. Because of this the captured towns/castles gets the enemy's attention due to the low garrison and that enemy will eventually besiege it and capture it again. Ten this repeats.

So what matters is there are some towns/castles that will be never besieged due to the high garrison - and because of this it's garrison grows over time even more. The rest always exchanges owners thus remains constant low garrison.

Don't know how to counter this. Just my opinion.
  2. Suggestions

Guys and girls, you can't imagine how THIRSTY are my soldiers! They would drink literally anything if it was possible. But it isn't. Please someone make the ale and wine consumable at last! It was a working tweak for mount and blade so why isn't there a warband version of this? The numbers are different in the text files so I can't find what to edit. I heard it's a little bit harder but my soldiers didn't have any salt/spice since they joined me. They are considering desertion to go back to their village to eat some salt/spice at last.
When somebody make these possible, please consider it adding to the Floris mod pack.
    Rant over. Thank you.
  3. TweakMB (With Fire & Sword support!) [v5.09; updated 12.29.13]

This is one of those tweaks I need to add, but have just never gotten around to doing.  It wouldn't be too hard to do the wine/ale part, but I don't know that the salt and spices would be doable as a tweak.  It was possible in vanilla M&B due to the order the items were listed in, but the item order is different in Warband.  It's setup in such a way that making salt/spice behave as food would cause every other trade item to also behave as food (iron, tools, pottery, etc).  That may make for some comical situations in game, but wouldn't really make any sense .

It would be very easy to do the salt/spice part via the module system, but not so much as a tweak.

Thank you for your fast response.
  4. Improved map of Europe

Speaking to each lord one by one after a battle just to grab the +1 relationship from them DRIVES ME CRAZY! That's a luring improvement for me in SVN (if it's true).
  5. Improved map of Europe

Didn't try the svn because I heard it is much more unstable than this version. So I don't know if it's compatible. The map of svn must be far better than this one so I might give it a try when I get bored of this. Did you hear that TweakMB can be used with 0.95 pre10? It's one more reason for me to stay with it.
  6. TweakMB (With Fire & Sword support!) [v5.09; updated 12.29.13]

I searched through the topic and there were 3 people who asked for a tweak that makes wine, ale, salt, spices consumable. I don't want to be a jerk but you didn't even respond any of these wishes so I try a 4th one: could you do this little tweak for us alcoholist and salt-addicted soldiers please? I throughly researched this consumable issue and tried the suggestions of TheMageLord from an older thread but it was meant only for mount and blade, not warband. In warband the numbers are different so I can't find the ones to modify.

If you don't want to make the tweak, at least could you give advice what are these numbers to deal with? Thank you and keep up the good work. I love TweakMB.
  7. Improved map of Europe

Greetings noble knights and miserable robbers of Europe. This is my first post but let me introduce my first contribution to the mod: an improved map of Europe for the 1257ad mod. I made some changes to the original 1257ad map (0.95 pre 10 version) with Thorgrim's map editor. I worked on it...
