    It could be set in the 1150 when crusades were very intense with Jerusalem and Egypt, Antioch and Turkey and The Byzantinane Empire and Turkey. It would also be great if you could hire ballistas, the early version of the trebuchete, magonels and catapaults. Troops such as the mamalukes...

    It would be very hard, but you could be able to hire ballistas, trebuchets and catapaults from taverns and use them in your battles and sieges.
