    But isnt that how it is anyway, ive not really looked too hard into exactly where they spawn on the map but it seems to me they magically appear where the troops originally start before clicking ready.

    What i would much prefer is if the troops didnt go all star trek and start teleporting on to the battle map its so immersion breaking, in the early days of M&B i just dealt with it but we`re over a decade on and its still happening, i think its great people are starting to make more noise about it so we can get this pushed up the list of priorities.

    Battle reinforcements have been an issue in M&B for as along as i can remember, having them magically spawn on to the map is the single most immersion breaking thing in the game and whats worse is it happens in the biggest focus point in the game ...the battles, absolutely crazy its not yet been resolved, im not even sure its on the radar?

    In Progress 1.7.0 Reinforcement.

    I was using mods to battle size until the new maps came out in 1.7.0 and on most it works but there are a few it just crashes on load or crashes when the player hits ready, the main culprits are Tyal (around the town edges if army combat is initiated) and close to Epicrotea and around the nearby castle and bridge.
    It amazes me this hasnt been fixed by now, its always been an issue for as long as i can remember and its so mind blowingly immersion breaking to have a huge force magically spawn in to the players archer unit or worse to spawn right behind the players infantry line.
    I`ve always enjoyed being aggressive in battles and really hammering an enemy for a win but now i have to hold back in case the enemy teleports in on to the battle field, the most important and biggest part of the game still has this incredibly bad feature.
    I dont know where it is in their priorities list (or even if its on the radar for fixing) but after all this time it needs to be near the top.

    How do you level up your companions?

    I pick them for hideout raids,just set them to charge and sit back until the boss fight and even then i sometimes put that i dont duel bandits so they can get more hits in

    I was about to post the same thing but as there have been a few post im going to add my bit and this post explains the issue i have a problem with perfectly.


    The reinforcements magically spawning on to the battlefield has been an issue with mount and blade for as long as i can remember and i feel it really does need looking at with bannerlord.
    Im enjoying the progress thats being made with the game but i feel this does need serious looking at for the reasons stated by the OP.
    Do i have a solution? Well not really my best idea (for a long time) has been to have them walk on to the map like troops would in real life, they would enter the battle area and move to where the main units are or are moving too to regroup.

    I dont mind what solution you settle with but this magically spawning on to the battlefield is really immersion breaking, ive learnt to deal with it over the years but some serious time and effort is needed to come up with a better idea.

    Party speed mod working with 1.6.5?

    Do we have a working mod for player party campaign speed? Ive searched most places but i cant find anything concrete that will work with 1.6.5, ive recently updated to try this release from 1.5.9 where there are plenty of options for what i want. A slider in MCM would be ideal but at the moment...

    I think the last hotfix has fixed this for me, i certainly havent had a crash related to this issue for a while now.

    It`s a huge problem that needs looking at asap, 3 times today its happened and having to re-fight these large battles when i barely won the first time is not fun and thats if i remember to save before it happens and that in itself is hugely immersion breaking.

    I just figured this out why is this happening. When lord appears on screen after war, map icons and other few icons appears with him on screen. This icons and npc himself causing the game to freeze for a milisecond, till all textures loaded. If you take 4 or 5 lords on and on quickly, game crashes. I tried to take them slowly to avoid crash. But it didn't change anything game was still crashing. I created 3 new campaigns and this is still happening, so this isn't about my save or my game files.. I just reinstalled the game 1 week ago. Thanks for help, I hope devs can figure out and fix it asap
    This has happened to me since the recent update 1.5.7
    It`s exactly as VersusXY has described, when i get to the lords after a battle it appears as though i can see the map and after battle report as the lords images are being loaded, its pretty hit and miss if its going to crash, i would say its happening for me 1 in every 25 battles and in most cases it just tells me the game has run in to an error but in more severe cases my screen flashes green then black and locks up forcing me to hard reset my pc.
    It`s definitely got something to do with loading the lords.
    Found this thread while looking for solutions online and as its fairly recent i thought id leave it here, hopefully it can be looked in to.

    What do i need to do to make "my men deserve a symbel" give more Town/castle relation?
    Its currently set as 1
    I found a reference to it in menus.txt  but after changing the 1`s both made the game crash

    When the bandits initiate combat with me i lose relation with them,could someone show me where and what numbers to change to remove this for each type of bandit so i can set it to 0 please

    The weapons work fine when i use them but ive started to notice it alot more now,its all the weapons from the Runico_remake_weapons.BRF
    When my companions use them theres not weapon in hand for the 1-handers but they still use the animations like they are using swords but the 2-handers they just punch, i did transfer every texture from the BRF but there must be more to it than that.
    Im going to try find another BRF with good weapons and swap them out as i dont want to start another game.

    I did check the HP`s and they were all 38,000 hps or there abouts

    EDIT: I fixed the problem by unchecking the box `Carry sword on left hip" so now they carry it in their hand which is obviously far more useful  :grin:
