    MP Sci-Fi SW: Bear Force II - 1.0 Released!

    Tactics in this mod would likely depend on the situation, as some tactics are better suited for certain situations than others, and also it would be dependent on the skill of the regiments members, as inevitably some regiments are far more skilled than others (124thNY/24th FTW).

    example: a regiment, made up of veteran players and led by a skilled and aggressive leader might decide to launch a shock and awe assault against a fortified enemy position, however this might end up causing more damage to his the regiment than the enemy, so he decides to split the regiment up into two teams, a fire team and a assault team, while the fire team (aptly named) lays down suppressive fire, the assault team charges forward, until getting into close enough range for grenades, and then closing in for the kill, not only was this manuever extremely effective in taking the enemy fortification, but the regiment took only a few casualties whereas the enemy was annihilated.

    In the end, it depends on the situation

    Indeed they were common, but its the matter of balancing them, i already know the different ways they could be used, recon, taking out MG emplacements and enemy officers, but how would you accurately balance such a powerful weapon so as not to make them overpowered

    Ok, im just asking because i couldn't be bothered to go through ALL 121 pages of posts to try and find out xD

    I dont know about sniper rifles though, it can be really good or be very bad.

    Are there going to be fixed machineguns? and if so, how will they work? will it be that you load them and you fire it until its done, and reload again?
