That's kind of weird when I was a vassal for the Empire whenever I recruited from my village I got empire recruits.  I honestly don't know a ton about this game or M&B overall so someone else is probably going to have to help you there since I have no clue what the issue is.

First off where are you even recruting pendor units from?  As far as I know before starting your own kingdom the only way to get pendor troops is rasing farmers and refugees that you got from prison stacks. Normally when you start your own kingdom they ask you what culture you would like to use and if you wanted to use ravenstern troops you would select kingdom of ravenstern, and if you change your mind you can revert to another culture by talking to your chancellor and the cost of doing so is 30000 denars and I think either a rep hit with every village in the kingdom or just the ones you personally own. But if you are somehow starting a kingdom while just only a village (is that even possible?) then I don't know if the chancellor will be available to you since there is no way to talk to him through the menu screen and no place to find him if you don't have a castle or town.  And in the case you haven't started your own kingdom then technically you should be only getting troops from a village based on geographic location.

Just a quick question on proficiency I have gathered bits and pieces of info on it by using he search function on this topic but any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

1.  Is prestige basically a seperate pool of renown that you can spend?  For example lets say I have earned 1000 renown through a playthrough and I spend 200 prestige on promoting nobles to an order, would I then have 800 prestige but still have 1000 renown and if I gained 200 renown afterward I would have 1200 renown and 1000 prestige?

2.  Is the cost for promoting to orders lowered when you have a better relation with them?  I also read something that this used to be tied with honour but from what I could tell this bit of info was for a previous version.

3.  Also probably something I should already know but is there a menu anywhere where you can see your current prestige?

Thanks in head of time any help would be appreciated since I would like to know how prestige works before blindly spending it.

As far as I know pop is compatible with version 1.160 as thats  the version I'm using now and have had no anomalies with a fairly good amount of gameplay.  As far as I know the only thing that was added in the 1.160 was steam worskhop related tweaks and from the changelog that was posted for patch 1.160 all mods that work with 1.158 should function normally.

As far as I know that is a low end card since its an integrated gpu and pretty much all of them dont compare well to modern dedicated gpus. But still as far as I know in terms of integrated it performs fairly well and can play some games fairly decently.  Also for my specs I stupidly bought a gaming laptop (something I regret) it has a 2.3ghz i7 and a nvidia 630m gpu with 2gb of vram and 8gb of ram.  So far I have my framerate set to 40 and pretty much all the graphics are set to highest except for maybe a couple of settings and only 10 corpses and blood only close up and I rarely lag during battles except for during very large sieges especially when your doing something like knocking down gates.  But of course there is plenty of lag on the campaign map which isnt suprising since the map in this mod is huge.  And as far as I know in terms of desktop gpus my gpu is about as fast as a nvidia 9600gt.  And just to add im no expert so dont take my word for anything when it comes to pcs

Random piece of advice for anyone who needs a laptop and likes pc gaming.  If you have to have a laptop and you also have enough room for a desktop never by a gaming laptop, just buy whatever laptop you need and keep the extra money you would have spent upgrading it to gaming and use it on a desktop, the performance of a $500 desktop for gaming to a $1000 laptop is quite large as far as I know.
