  1. Version 0.630 is out! (Version 0.632 now)

    I'm impressed. The graphics changes are nice. The AI tweaks are awesome. My troops actually kill stuff. Borcha and Marnid survive more often.

    Well worth the wait :wink:.
  2. A bridge?

    That's a pretty big river toget a bridge across. Besides the land's at war, if there was one it'd be destroyed in a matter of days. However, a ferry at Zendar would work.
  3. AI Tweaks

    Here's a laundry list of things I think would be interesting to mess with: 1. Add sensory systems. -Hearing and Vision are fairly trivial tasks to equip the AI with. Games like Splinter Cell and Thief really make good use of this. You don't even need anything that fancy just some scheme...
  4. Lose the ghost horses

    Voted no to Fantasy. I hate D&D stuff.

    Would be cool to see scientists of the time portrayed as wizards and witches, tho.
  6. Top notch game, few suggestions though

    Starting out is kind of a drag. If you're patient and persistent, you'll do fine. When you're soloing, don't wade into the enemy. Do quick passes on the stragglers. As long as you stay mobile and on your mount, you're about as invincible as it gets.

    As for the aggro thing, usually the smaller your party the faster you travel so while you're being chased, you can easily outpace most of the bad stuff. Its also been toned down a bit as the Dark Knights don't seem to make a beeline for you and you alone.
  7. Salt Mines

    you can make a pretty awesome living doing the zendar to salt mines run. Just be sure to take prisoners on both legs.
  8. Hand to Hand fighting?

    Obviously against armored oppenents it would be useless (it could be made so that you took damage) but, it would be nice to sock some of the river pirates in the face in lieu of clubbing them. Especially when I run out of javelins. However, the mechanics of unarmed fighting are as varied and...

    As far as I can tell, the AI for allies is still pathetic. They go down without putting up much of a fight.

    I've sat there and watched two Knights fighting a single River Pirate. The Pirate took them both down and was only hit once.

    That's truly pathetic.

    Most of my guys fight fairly competently. Just be sure to issue a charge order when the enemy gets too close your buddies. Otherwise they will sit there and die stupidly.

    a larger battlefield will require a more indepth ordering system for the troops. Otherwise its gonna be an exercise in getting mobbed and robbed.

    with the new version, you can switch sides and run missions for the swadians to get your standing back up.

    at last, I'll be able to get enough money to give my wussy merchant enough money to kit out some fine gear.

    Does this work only for the new version or previous ones?

  15. Small suggestion - console-style damage readouts/feedback

    another problem is that you could use it as an exploit when shooting from range. EG: If I'm plinking baddies from a atop a hill, I can't really tell who I'm hitting but if there were little numbers popping up, I'd be able to focus my fire on one guy taking him out, rather than evenly distributing the pain.
