That's pretty much what I expected. Sadly I don't have a backup from over 400 in-game days ago. Shame I didn't notice the bug earlier.

I mean I've played a long time (several months in-game) with this issue going on. By "wait one week" would I have to stand in the exact same spot (in a camp?) for a week and not interrupt it?
I'll try it out as soon as possible.

Ok, then this issue is permanent. Several months are more than a week 
I am checking this. I will fix but I fear that only will work for savegames previus to duplicate lords. Thank you for reporting.

Shame it most likely won't fix my save. If only I had known when it actually started so I could've rolled back.
I had no chance to make a backup since I never knew when the problem began.
Crossing my fingers that something can be done to rescue my savegame, I've already lost one save, and this one I've put many days of constant playing into

I am currently running the 1.03 beta patch, but I finished the story campaign while on 1.02 I believe. The version is 1.166.
I have no idea when this started, but maybe it's some kind of hiccup that happened after the final battle of the story-campaign?

I know this is asking a lot, but is there a way for me to manually delete the clones, or will I have to wait for an update?

EDIT: Okay this is a little embarrassing, but I am struggling to figure out how to attach files to my posts. Am I just supposed to upload it to a 3rd party site?

First, You need to be at war with whichever faction is holding snotingaham.

Then enter Snotingaham and the game will start the quest in search of the "Ragnarsons being besieged in Snotingaham".

This definitely does not work for me. I've been at war with the faction holding Snotingaham, and it still gives me the screen shown in the OP.

Yeah I also noticed that the king of Norþhymbra is missing. Supposedly travelling to Edynburh from North Ireland (and he's neither of those places)

I am so happy (and upset) to see that I am not the only one with this problem!

Thank God you were more observant, and knew exactly what you did.

Let's hope it gets fixed soon.

Maybe a dev could tell us if an eventual fix would also fix the issue for the people already stuck, or if we'll have to start over?

I believe I just ran to the edge of the map and pressed "leave the area" - I can't really remember because I was distracted by steam quite a bit at the time.

I don't know if this is important, but when I entered I saw how I got the notification in the bottom right, something along the lines of: "You remember that you need to bring the Seax for this"
The seax was in my inventory, so I don't know why it reminded me.

It seems to be a general problem for people, that whenever they leave an area while a mission is in progress, it's impossible to get back to the area to continue.
This seems to be the case for my Snotingaham mission, as well as people who leave Odin's cave before having completely finished by talking to Bodo.

It would be really nice to be told whether I should just restart my whole campaign or wait for a fix. (or if I should expect one at all).
It's very frustrating to be stuck in the story, it's quite interesting.
