All seems good to me and I really wish people wouldn't say the new patches break loads of things without any proof, just because your having problems doesn't mean anyone else is and if a developer is checking around the forum it's not making us seem very grateful is it!?
Good job taleworlds, I no longer auto-resolve siege battles!
I think the collaborators of WWII were reborn into people like this poster. The job of the developers isn't easy and I'm sure they're working hard, BUT
we don't have to be grateful, we paid for the game and should expect quality.
And posters like this one above reek of naivity. Do you think any business is actually in it to please it's customers? They're here to take our goddamn money, and as shown by the business practices of 99.9% of the corporations out there, you think it's actually a good idea to crush the souls of the few who actually try to make something good?
Buy any piece of crap from EA etc. and see what kind of support you get. The most rat awful developers don't even release patches after their initial 1 or 2 hotfixes. So jesus christ, realize what you've got before it's gone.
You're naive if you think they're in it so that we can tell them how grateful we are. So grow up and act like someone who chooses where to spend your hard earned cash. Assuming you've earned your cash of course.
And spending my money on a company who works hard to releases patches is a bad thing? Spend it elsewhere if you like, but outside of games by Blizzard, really, which company are you better of spending your "hard earned cash" on? If you're going to troll developers, go troll the real ****holes out there. Don't go screaming your hate like an angry schoolboy at one of the few that actually cares.
Imagine me screaming if it makes you feel good, but I'm obviously quite calm. There's no hate here, but there's plenty of disdain for the people who think the appropriate way to act is like little puppies: wag your tail and be happy with what you get no matter what it is. If that's how you want to be, good for you, but don't get in the way of people who have more self respect.
Since you're a fanboy of these folks this may come as a surprise to you:
all developers care. They want to make good games and get recognition for it; unfortunately it is very difficult to do. They also want money. Don't get me wrong, that's totally fine as long as they deliver a product of decent quality in exchange for that money. Warband shipped in a worse state than the original game + mods.
Maybe it was the developers fault or maybe it was their publisher, it doesn't matter. Their decision to add multiplayer first instead of fixing and improving on their core game was done out of greed and wasn't a smart move (that's definitely not what Blizzard would have done, if you're comparing the two). Naturally they're going to piss off lots of return customers who expected the game to actually be better than the last game they bought
