I've been on both sides of this before as well.  Sometimes you have a solid player who just happens to whip everyone's ass.  When you do it one day, you will look back and think about how far you've come.  Good feeling.

The added flexibility as a foot soldier with a throwing weapon is worth its weight in gold to me.  I personally love using them and with a bit of practice they are deadly.

Heh, but yeah something like a mute all or language filter on/off wouldn't be too tough to implement.  It's one thing to have adults speaking as adults; I'm one of which who does on regular occasion curse, though appropriately, but the point of annoying children is noted.  I'd rather filter out that damn "U r moar newb den dis fukfase" whatever speech.  Someone get that kid a ****ing English teacher...stat.

This game and the mod community make Warband an interesting place to work up an RP clan.  Certainly could be big if you are patient, and don't give up.

If you are prone to taking a few hits, any armor will make a big difference.  Once you get smoother in your manual blocking and footwork, try the speed of going in your shorts.

Or just put a pike through the horse's neck into the rider's face....that is wildly effective when you get the hang of it.....

Yeah I know the feeling of dread from getting the short straw in the weapon load out.  First thing I try to do is snag a fallen gladiator's weapon to keep from getting crushed.  Too bad you can't use the bow as a staff in melee or stab them in the eye with an arrow.....

If you like it, keep supporting the community with bug reports, positive comments and $ to TW's projects.  Every little bit helps keep this one strong.

You may have tried this but on steam right click Warband, go to properties then local files and verify the integrity of the local files.  Might not find anything missing or out of place but wouldn't hurt to check it.
