Wouldn't it be cool if the players could buy bots from the equipment screen? Then everybody could have a couple AI buddies with them. There could be different types of bots with different costs. A peasant bot would only cost like 50 bucks while a heavily armored knight bot would cost 500.
2: The way this is set up, it sounds like it would be one really long battle, which would make it hard for people to join mid game.
This might be fix by simply giving everyone one life, but it would still be quite a wait.
Well, Tribes 1 supported 128 players and that game came out 10 years ago. If they have a good netcode and some powerful servers, they should be able to support 100 players.
The devs just need to copy the Horde mode in Gears of War 2 or the Firefight mode in Halo ODST. Those modes are really great and I would love to see them in Mount & Blade.
I think there should be some Push maps where the defending team would control all the flags in the beginning and the attacking team would have to capture them in numerical order. Once a flag has been captured by the attackers, the defenders can't take it back anymore. I really liked maps like that in Battlefield.
