yes omg this is what I was thinking why don't they make it so you can still select the different units, but they got rid of it and I was so upset I don't really wanna play the game as much now cos I can't separate my main fighting force from my backups n then they just die cos I have no way of protecting them from archers as they push in. TaleWorlds please listen to your customer base bring back the option to select the classes etc that troops go in but keep the prepping phase cos that is awesome just some minor tweaks you need to make.

I love what you have done with the battle planning before a battle but the only con I say is that all the infantry troops are mixed so I think you need to make it so you can individually specify what troops goes with who.
Example: I have Sturgian spearmen, pikeman and line breakers but I can't split them up into those specific unit if I wanted to even if i press the little symbols for Armour or polearms etc. it just mixes them and I don't want that personally
