you dont have to be QM tho. the bonus from that, under the "i" button- the bonus troops, is automatically added i think because none of the perks are implemented yet. noticed that when using clan parties. you can set them-companions- to whatever you want since they are the lead of their own party. noticed this with the brother, who has i think a 140 in steward, he has the same amount of troops whether he is assigned as the QM of his party or not. same goes for your main character, you have the same amount of troops whether or not assigned as QM, you just get the bonus troops.
i will normally assign my character as surgeon till i get to 25 in medicine for the hp boost, then switch back and forth between surgeon and scout so that i can raise those 2 skills--- even tho none of the scout perks, well all cunning related perks are not implemented yet, tho we still get the bonuses listed under the "i" button for being higher in those skills

You don't have to stick with talking to Penton. There are more than 10 nobles that you can talk about the "Neretzeh Folly" quest, so you can check the other regions.

ok , thanks, didnt know that notify tab was there...did that just get added? it was always just automatic before when i became a vassal

3rd- yeah, realize and did that...but was just thinking there should be something or a mechanic in game that would redirect me from him if he'd died instead of everyone telling me to talk to him

some one let me know about bannerlordperks site. lists what skill and perks are working at the moment. i use it quite often. dont know what or if connected to the main site or not, but is very informative on whats working and not

that does not help me. if you look at the top of my post it says...1.5.1, main, unmodded. so 1.5.2 beta does nothing for me

sorry, must apologize. i tried playing it for awhile ( couple hours) but it was untenable. i erased my saves and started a whole new game.

i know my last, sorry current game the way to quick money was to stop villagers, buy the old work horses from them cheap, then butcher them for the meat and then sell the meat. didnt get any trade skill, but you can start from your original 1k denars to 10k in just a matter of minutes.

yeah, i agree. my game, hidden hand kept taking out my caravans and companions. i hunted them down and killed them all. got like -60 reputation with everybody. but when i started chasing the next on the list , the eltheroi, it made them make peace. i was chasing one of their lord's parties, he ran into the city where our leader was ( i was a vassal of southern at the time). when he came back out he wasnt red to me, and when i caught him, he said the was no quarrel between us.

when you create an army, you start an army cohesion bar. its lower right corner. the longer your army is together the shorter that bar gets. when it gets too low your army disbands. best thing to do is just start armies with your companion parties, travel around with them or stay at a castle or city till they disband. everyday, at least at the beginning, you gain 1 point in leadership skill. also, use lords you have spoken to and have relation with, the higher relation you have the less influence it takes to get them

another little trick i like to do is get as many prisoners as i can hold, run around until they are ready to join my army but keep them as prisoners. call my companions for an army, let them join up with me , then go sack a castle. right as the siege camp is built, right before you attack, go make all those prisoners part of your army/party. that way you get an extra 50-60 troops basically for free and there is no time for them to desert
