    I've never played as a vassal. I bend the knee to no one. How do executions work as a vassal anyway would you get kicked out of the kingdom if you did too many?

    Yeah I usually do that but once the conspiracy quest triggers you can't ask for peace at all you have to destroy them.

With the absence of diplomacy & kingdom-management mechanics, however, I'm kinda mystified that TW even gave us the main-quest path to establish a kingdom at all in the first place.

    In current state of the game, it seems to me the most logical route is to just ignore the main quest entirely. Avoids a lot of headaches.

    Note: I'm not saying this situation is okay or suggesting that OP and others have somehow made a mistake and have only themselves to blame. Not at all. I'm just pointing out that TW explicitly released an unfinished game in EA and told us the parts that weren't yet implemented. So far so good, I'm cool with that....but then they included a broken quest that invites the player directly into the midst of those very same un-implemented gameplay aspects. Inexplicable.

    Yeah I feel you, I get that it's early access. Maybe I should just download the mod that finishes the main quest for you automatically and avoid the mess but I sort of found the underdog feeling fun until I was getting sieged everyday.

    I don't think I've had anyone defect from negative relation but you can raise it through the kingdom screen with influence if you think it matters. I had this guy at +26 once and he defected though, he is next on the list of kills.

    I don't think there are any for right now. Maybe they will change it in the future tho.

    What do you mean by switching modules in the Beta branches? Like when the hotfix came out and I loaded in with the updated modules? or do you mean going from 1.2 beta to 1.3 beta? or going from the stable build into the beta? or all 3 of those?

    Which update are you on? It might be worth trying the newest beta maybe it has a fix for your problem.

    Maybe, it is weird because I started this save in 1.2 beta and after updating to 1.3 beta I played a few times and the loading was working just fine and then it borked for no apparent reason. I don't expect the game to work perfectly in Early access beta versions. Just trying to make sure I'm not playing for nothing.

    If none of the updates nor the fixes on the forum have helped you, what is your pc spec maybe it is too weak to run the game?

    Every game is different maybe other developers put more leeway into their minimum requirements.

    This computer is also weaker than the minimum requirements (4gb of ram instead of minimum of 6gb also it is only a 32 bit OS when bannerlord requires 64 bit.

    It seems your processor and graphics if you are using integrated graphics is lower then the game's minimum requirements.
    I don't know if it would let you run the game and be laggy or just not allow you to start it at all.

    Have you tried updating your drivers? What's your computer spec? Did you verify game cache on steam?
