Just my 2 cents / things I've noticed:
- The offer of Vassalage from Swadia seems to be the hardest to come by. The first offer I always received was the one from Khan (the wannabe Kerghits). Swadia's offer came in last and took more than a month ingame to achieve. My renown was +500 (but I don't know if it has any influence on the order of offers given!).
- From where I'm now in the game, it appears that you really get only
one offer of Vassalage from each kingdom. So chose wisely who to reject. If you reject all, it appears that even if you swear an oath to a kingdom later on in the game, you won't get a village-fief.
- There appears to a limit on shot-difficulty now. The best/highest shot difficulty I've ever managed was 12.0 in the 0.890 version - No matter if there actually was a distance-difference to the enemies (I've tested this with a cheat-character with 599 archery of course!)
- Not new in this version, but I never had the chance to tell about it as it is so small a thing: The aiming reticle has a white dot in the middle. If you draw an arrow on your bow / a bolt on your crossbow, the dot splits into three shapes, forming a triangle that enlarges & depending on your skill shrinks again until you can shoot perfectly. That's all nothing new to you! The little thing to be noted is that the inner edges of the three shapes have the base colours red, green and blue. When the shapes shrink together again to form the reticle, the colours add up to white. This is called additive colormixing and shows off M&Bs game-engine! I love that little detail!
- Horses can be head-shoted now!
Update: More 2-cent pieces:
- The inventory-chest has vanished from the battlefield although pressing "i" still tells you that you can access your inventory on the battlefield by opening the chest at your starting-position.
- Heros leading armies often can't ride very well! They are mounted on a horse, but just walk slowly on it in the middle of their footsoldier-crowd. They don't charge at me with their horse. It is somewhat realistic though: In the "Last Days"- Lord of the Rings Mod for M&B, Captains would charge at you in a suicidal fashion, leaving all their footsoldiers behind them.... Stupid idea!

It is more realistic that a lord would be at the back of an army or at least admidst it (like it is now). But still: A lord on a horse that moves even slower than the footsoldiers around it is a sitting duck!
