I want to troll and say something like if the clan name had jigolos instead how sad would you be, but I will go ahead and give you the education you so desperately need. I know that people in the administration of the tourney, who complain about the clan name won't read this because "it's too long", but for once in your lives, read what I have to say and maybe you may still have time to be enlightened.
First of all, everyone is looking at it the wrong way and this is why warband will never become an esports with this administration, unless if they change their mindset, who have no business experience whatsoever and are just talking about such basic stuff as the current clan names.
You keep talking about how the name is offensive and it will scare away team sponsors etc. as your main reasoning. Let me put it this way, for the sponsors to be interested, there has to be money involved, and there are two ways for that, either find an independent tourney organization that will put in money prizes, that are enough to lure in pro teams, or require the current teams to go pro and change their structure. The only way you can do that is to prove that organization will benefit from this (which mostly means benefits from organization sales, twitch views, ticket sales etc. etc. current clan names would mean jack sht to these organizations ) Dreamhack, IntelExtremeMasters, MLG, ESEA league are all great examples for this type of organizations, who set and have their own rules already to enter.
The second way you can do this is to have taleworlds sponsor it, as it is done with some of the big games such as league of legends. Would be an unorthodox approach since it's not a free to play game, but would for sure attract a lot of attention and would open the door to being invited/sponsored by option A. Of course taleworlds is a much smaller company, with a smaller vision understandably, compared to some of those huge companies that do this, but I'm sure they can accumulate more money for the prize pool then free t-shirts, and have better publicity then a forum post in their own forums...
Once one of these two things happen, only then will you see fnatic, tsm etc. come in and acquire players/teams, or if some of the current teams are willing they can go pro with some investments from the people inside the clan/outside help, which means so much more then just changing your clan tag, I won't tell you what it takes to go pro and win prizes in a game, I'll let you self educate on that one and use google for a change then having your own ideas that have been formed without the help of any exterior knowledge.
At this point there won't even be a conversation to keep or change the KURWA tag because the tourney organization will have their own rules and KURWA will have a very clear option. In the case of wnl, kurwa clan tag is already accepted, and there should be no further discussion whether to allow them to use it or not. Of course anyone can go to their blog and censor the name, or write about how it's damaging the community, but at the end of the day, they'll just be what independent blogs are for other gaming organizations/teams, what Greenpeace is to the industry or what a sports article is to Real Madrid, weasels.
TLDR ; Whoever is sponsoring the tournament (in this case it would be the group of people that accepted KURWA in the first place), the organization, or taleworlds, or whoever, will and does have the option to accept/deny/ask for a name change or anything they want because it's their organization. And at that point there is nothing for a forum community or reddit or whoever to change, yes they can make request but it would ultimately be up to whoever controls the tourney organization to implement the rules to see if they are valid.
At this case KURWA is accepted to this tourney with their own name, which I'm happy about because the current tourney administration, whoever it is, understands the process I explained up top and how irrelevant one clan name is.
If an admin/employee doesn't agree/isn't comfortable with doing their task, they're always free to go back to their blog and keep censoring it, but they shouldn't be allowed to censor something that has been allowed by the tournament organization, in the official tournament page, which they currently are. If they are unable to perform the duties at hand, they should be replaced. Individuals can always have opinions, voice concerns, but shouldn't be allowed to make changes to the rules of the tourney which the administration already agreed upon.
Hold ctrl and space while ingame, is one way to speed it up atleast.
