I just woke up and I'm already here, downloading...

The good thing about this release not yet released is that I have little spare time to work on a Noldor design for my armors, and eventually work on what will probably be the last exam of my life tomorrow.

I may also add more textures for them when I have some more time

It is just more and more difficult to wait as the release date is near.

There are three, the one completely open, the one with a "T" shaped gap for the nose and eyes, and a last one with only a line open for the eyes.

The last helm could be use for Noldor as it is more fantasy like (as stated by Misguided).
Moreover the fact that it is open makes it OK for archers. I dont see how anybody could fire a bow with the other helms

But I dont know how look the other Noldor helm (except if it has not change since 1.21), and it is better if there is some consistency between all their armors.
So I think it is up to SD and the beta tester to decide.

I wanted to propose the female adventurer troops, but though it would be unapropriate so next to the release date.
Great though, it is exactly for that purpose that I originally created them

It seems promising ! And it gives more importance to Weapon Master in addition of building knight chapters

Although I do not use them, I think throwing weapons can be pretty deadly if you max the throwing weapon and power throw skill, even with the kind of damage it actually does. I mean if you stick to it you can have a proficiency of about 300 or more and be pretty accurate.

I remember in some siege battle against the empire being suddenly knocked out by a spear in the head thrown by some empire heavy legionnaire (not even an immortal) while I was shooting at their crossbowmen! (Damn, now I take those spearmen first)

And again good plate armour should protect you from being one shoot even by a javelin (except in the head or by an exceptional shooter). I mean it has some chance to get simply deviated by the armour, although if it pierces it, it should be a one shoot kill. So the actual system well represents it

Good news for the axes, for sure it looks way more badass than swords. But until now, the only one really worth it was the ravenstern knight axe (or something like that) and none of the two handed axes were as good as the pendor great sword because of their "short" reach.

I think items we never use depend of the players. Personally, I never use throwing weapons or crossbows (either I use archery or just stick to melee).
I don't use much axes either because they usually have less reach than sword only to be better against shield (which I never manage to break on enemies, I kill them before).

But once again it is a question of personal taste.

One thing is you should not balance every items in the game, some are better than other as they should be. A butcher knife will never prevail over a claymore...
It is like armour, every one who could afford it fought in heavy armours in medieval times. It was not to show their wealth but because it is better than light armours (even if it is slower and may reduce archery skills)

Oh yes one last thing, I never use the meat than can expire as it do it to fast before I have the chance to finish it (even with big armies)
