Hello, I am posting this here because the Town Watch - Warband Tech Support Thread has not answered me.
I have recently had problems with playing Mount and Blade: Warband using PC and Mac Multiplayer over the internet (not LAN). We could not see eachothers hosted games, but were both still able to join other multiplayer hosted games made by other people. When I was told I had to get a static IP Address and to port forward my modem I followed the link on how to set one up, however, I did not have a DNS server. The link said that my ISP should be able to give me one to complete it, however, when I asked them, they had no clue. I therefore had to buy a static IP address and then got helped to port forward my modem. This time my hosted game was able to be seen by my friend but when he tried to join it came up with "Incorrect Authorization Key" and that is were we have been unable to progress further. We are using seperate computers over the internet, so not the same IP address and using seperate steam accounts, with Mount and Blade Warbands bought at seperate times, so not the same cd key. If anyone could please help with this matter that would be great. If you are going to refer me to a different place could you please put the link in. Thank you for your help in advance.
