    Did you start a new character when you got the Beta update? If not, that's likely why it is messing up.

    That's right! I did that too then I started getting those error messages.

    Oddly it stopped occurring for me too. I don't remember what changed though because I was just ignoring it... it took me a while to realise it'd vanished!

    No, it seems it's just a way to unlock the options. You'd actually still need to award the castle to yourself before you can build any improvements anyway.

I used the in-game built-in cheats to win my way to a castle, set up my own kingdom and installed a Minister picked from my citizens. After I got the Castle, I could not find any option to build improvements (messenger post, prison tower, etc) in it. Is that a bug or is it caused by any tweaks I may have used?

    I found that happened to me too. To overcome this I had to make one of my companions the minister (which you can change later by the way, just not back to a normal citizen minister... so basically you lose a companion - choose a crappy one) then all the options were available for awarding fiefs etc.

  14. Who puts an Arena inside the Prison? Honestly....

    Regarding that problem with your nakedness in the castle, I had the same problem when I was "disguised" before. I was only disguised (as in, in rags) when I went back to the castle, otherwise I would be in my normal full armour.

    After some time (and maybe a game reload?) it went away but I can't say exactly when or why.

  15. Biggest underdog battle you've ever won?

    I remember in original M&B I won a landscape battle (as in, met in the field) where it was roughly 80 versus 600. By the end, I was the only one left alive/able to fight on my side and I had to keep circling on my mount and looting dropped arrows. That was an incredible 30 minutes or so!

    I feel like if I had an infinite number of arrows in a castle seige then I wouldn't have any problem defending haha.
