  1. Patch Notes e1.0.3

    Ty devs.

I hope the snowball problem will be fixed soon, we cant play SP right now.

I wish that were not so, but unfortunately I agree. Can't return to single player until that's fixed.
  2. Single Kingdom Steamrolling the Map Makes the Game Unplayable

Yup it sure does suck a lot.

Its not easy to have strong garrison because they reduce the food production and end up dying over time

Then castles/towns should have much larger food stockpiles. I see them run out during sieges way too quickly.
  3. My thoughts on the Faction Snowball effect. Campaigns should go on forever!

Hearsties, I agree with almost all your points. Armies steamrolling across the map and making one faction dominate makes the game absolutely unplayable long term, which sucks because I really want to devote a long playthrough to one character.

On the army system, I don't think the concept as a whole is bad and needs to be nixed, I like it more than a roving band of lords following a marshal. The issue however, is armies function like well drilled and organized machines, not a band of squalling nobles who shouldn't all be so happy working together. Lords should break off from armies more often. Army cohesion should be more difficult, and armies should require larger food stockpiles to feed men as well as all those massive amount of horses lords no doubt have, making it much harder to keep an army in the field for weeks on end smashing castle after castle. Implementing all those changes would help fix the army steamrolling issue.

Don't worry, the Khuzaits will stop them.

    (sarcasm)

    Lol, last hope for Calridia.

That might be a bit much, don't want to make sieges too difficult. Just need stronger garrisons.
  5. [Suggestion] Any of the 3 empire factions are stronger than all the other factions.

It's not always an empire faction, for me it was the Vladians steamrolling over the map. Regardless, the big issue is steamrolling not that any one faction is too strong.

I feel like Bannerlord should capitalize on the importance of food in the field. Huge offensive armies in this game have huge food penalties that can sometimes lead to their disbandment as they cannot sustain a long-term siege. However, the AI just stocks a ton of cheap grain (myself included) and thus can stay in the field for weeks on end and also raid a bunch of villages. There should be some sort of limit to this whether it's a new feature that increases food penalty the longer an army campaigns or just nerfs inventory sizes and makes food heavier / less plentiful in one's inventory.

I think this is an excellent point. While pack horses increasing your inventory capacity is incredibly useful, it does result in armies being capable of carrying many weeks worth of food with no need to worry about running out at all. I think one aspect that may help is that horses in your inventory should consume food. So with all those lords out there who have tons of horses to make their army go faster and carry goods, there will at least be an extra cost.
  7. My thoughts on the Faction Snowball effect. Campaigns should go on forever!

In my game it was the Valdians, but it's the same as everyone else has said. One faction completely rolls over the map, and it makes the game completely unplayable as there is soon no one but bandits to fight and your chosen kingdom is likely completely in ruin. I'd really like to play through a campaign..but there's just no point to starting a new character when the map will be conquered by one faction in 15 hours.
  8. Single Kingdom Steamrolling the Map Makes the Game Unplayable

I would like to preface my thoughts by saying overall I've enjoyed bannerlord so far, I've been waiting a very long time for it and I've been very excited to play it. I was willing to play early access and just roll with whatever bugs and balance issues prevailed, but roughly 15 hours into my...

I have the same problem. You know what the developers should have done? Just play it ONE time before release. They should have played the storyline only a single time before they released it and everything would have been fine.

In the Devs defense, not everyone has had this problem, I have a friend who's got past the cave, the devs playing it through once is no guarantee that they will catch everything.

However really hope they fix this problem soon, completely stuck until it is fixed.
  10. Stuck in the storyline quest [spoilers]

I've had the same left click issue, completely stuck and can't continue the story.

Same problem here, I've tried shutting down the game and talking to  Bodo  again at least 5-6 times, bug every time.
