    I am in a similar place to you, slightly to the south - I have Distar Castle, Asugan Castle and Sharwa Castle.  Halmar and Shariz are both in Sarranid hands also so they are massive.  I would like to take Bariyye and Bardaq castle, maybe dropping Distar back to the Kherjits - Distar is just seeming too far away.

    I have 3 castles + villages in between the Khejit and Sarranids and after long wars against the Khejits we made peace.  This lasted for some time until then both Kherjits and Sarranids both declared war on me. I am confident I can beat the Kherjits if it was just their armies, but the Mamelukes...

    I find attack and defeat the enemy marshal, he then goes home and a lot of the other lords will give up and go home also.

    So the only way to reduce the enemy armies in the field is to kill them and if possible hold the lords prisoner so they cannot raise new armies?

    Is the replenishment linked to the size of the settlement?  For example if you herded all of the enemy lords into one castle would they all replenish at a slower rate as the castles troop creation rate is shared between them all?

    Literally is the power of an enemy nations armed forces solely linked to the number of nobles they have?

    In a war with an AI kingdom versus the player faction, how does the AIs war economy work and is it possible to win against larger kingdoms by focussing on damaging their economy? For example when defeating enemy lords you can keep them out of the field by killing their troops - but if you raid...

    It is a must for creating your own kingdom and getting lords on your side :smile:

  9. Do castles generate income now?

    The castle generates as long as the attached village is okay.  If the village gets raided you lose village and castle income.

  10. My kingdom's minister disappeared?

    Also I found that I changed my minister from Ymira to my wife and now Ymira is missing :sad:

  11. No companions with Connections in Saranid Sultanate?

    I think they should have added some new companions for the Sarranids.

    Though I employ Nizar as a vassal and he has Sarranid troops - though he has connections in Swadia.

    Just adopt my real life strategy, keep telling any woman you meet that you're her biggest admirer and then eventually you'll end up married to someone.  :eek:

  14. Defensive Siege Positioning

    If I jump off a tower and take damage I can get to the top of the ladder at the same time as the enemy lords!

    I have a defensive siege battle to fight but for some reason it is putting me at the back of the map along with all of my troops so that by the time my army has walked across the enemy army is already at the top of the ladder!  Is this maybe the castle I have is buggy? Seems like little point...
