    Sarranid Mameluke is overpowered.

    I agree that mamelukes are pretty tough but I don't think they are overpowered. Your problem IMHO is that Khergits (at least in my experience) are just downright crap against anything other than mountain/taiga bandits or looters. I only use them in the beginning of the game as they are the cheapest horsemen around and are useful to build up your warchest to get companions and gear. Then dump them and get decent troops.

    I disagree with this. I think it's right to say kerghits are pure sh*t on siege defense/attack, unless they are supported by some good infantry units to dig a hole in the defense or to prevent ennemies from passing the walls.

    But on the field, if you lead the good, giving them well timed orderd, they can be mass destruction weapons : harass with arrows and lances to catch the infantry troop attention, then lead an assault in their back with saber.

    Then, concerning mamelukes, yes, they deal a lot of damages. But as every cavalry unit, block them with an infantry wall, supported with some good archers, and nobody will speak about them anymore. I agree that, when they face other units on mob fight, they tend to be somewhat strong and difficult to manage, but unless the ennemy points out with an entire army of mamelukes, things are not that bad.

    I fought Emir Mirchaud (that bastard left swadia for the pearled desert), he had 12 mamelukes, and some swadian troops (~40, but no horses. I was in trouble because i just fought another Emir, and my troops were only composed of 8 swadian knights, 13 rhodok seargeant 9 swadian infantry, 10 swadian sharpshooter and something like 20 swadian militia.
    I lost 17 swadian militia (because that dog let the mameluke run straight away), but as the mamelukes were blocked (the swadian infantry was of great help), I encircled them with my cavalry while the rest of my troops were taking care of the rest of the ennemies. I won easily.
    (Was playing with normal damages to all and AI to average.)

    En tout cas merci beaucoup. De mon côté j'essaye de faire une traduction de ce read me, pour voir si c'est plus clair avec tous les éléments.

    Horses on loot screen?

    I confirm : horses are back. With the 1.123 version, when I fight kerghits medium armies (~100) I always get 3 or 4 horses (with looting skill to 6). As the rest of the equipement, they often are "lame" horses, but I happened to find a "spirited" courser.

    How to fight multiple melee enemies at once?

    On traning fields, when you face 3 ennemies, the one in the middle will reach you before the other two. As you use a staff, I'd advice you to lend a right slash (the fastest of your 4 attack moves).
    Here is the trick : the AI hits you when its range is "perfect", to deal the most damage. It means that you can hit them before they start the move by knowing your weapon range and hitting them with the "end" of your staff. You'll deal less damage, but the opponent (unarmored) will be stunt, letting you a free hit to the other opponents.

    You may be able to kill one of them that way. Then, thrust at them, as you will get the longer range of your weapon. The aim is a little more diffficult, but this will give you the opportunity to hurt one of them. Then, blocking/kicking hitting will end the assault easily

    I play on max damages, and win every 1vs3 with this methods. 1vs 4 will need more practice (50% at the moment).
    The ugliest part is when you fight into the arena, when all your opponents decide in one second to kill you. When you have to face 7 fools that run to you, attacking your every half second, it's pretty hard to stay alive.

    Would you mind restarting game if a patch has no savegame compatibility?

    Totally agree. And if the devs had to care about compatibility we would have to wait some more months. If the game could become stable with this patch, I think it would be like a rebirth. I'll be ok with starting a new game.

    Next patch? Several gamebreaking bugs...

    As this was said before, it's all Multiplayer fault. If a lot of patches were released every 2 days, the multiplayer servers would fall into a total chaos, with patched, unpatched, fast patched, outpatched versions of the game. That's the main reason for this loooong waiting.

    I must agree i don't like waiting without any information about how long the calvary will continue.
    But instead of criyng and threatening the devs with "not playing and not buying the game anymore", I think we should show them our support. The only reason the devs are tracking bugs, posting on forums and spending all that time trying to make the game stable is because of their proximity with the players. And this relationship is the main reason why M&B isn't a clone of all the games you can see everywhere. So respect the devs work : yes the game is deeply bugged, but they are working on that, and we can expect a major update that will lead us to go back to this fabulous game, with an all new experience (without fear of "oh my god, I had not made a copy of my save before doing this !!").



    I'm waiting, just like everybody, and I wish the patch will be released as soon as possible. But if this is a promise of a bug free game, i can wait some month more.
    I'm going to try several mods, to make a good looking "package",think of the way I'm going to become a king, and as soon as the patch will be released, i'll sy a huge THANK YOU to the devs, think of the way I'm going to become a king and i'll dive into caldaria realm, and my night will be as short as long the waiting was.  :lol:

    Courage everybody, I feel something is going to happen.

    And for the devs : nice work you have already done. i'm sure you are not going to disappoint us.

    (PS: by the way, we have already paid for the game. There is nothing more to do than wainting).
