Seriously, if you can't win sieges against the Khergits, then you don't know how to conduct them. The Khergits are by far the easiest sieges, together with most of the Rhodoks. Bring along some 30 top-tier ranged at the top of your list and some 30 top-tier infantry (possibly Huscarls). Don't charge at once, tell your guys to hold until the ranged have sniped down most of the enemies, and help out with the sniping yourself. You'll start understanding the right moment to have your infantry charge, when the defenders are weak from the sniping and before they get reinforcements. This, together with the various techniques to have your guys' AI working decently, will grant you victory. I never have more than 15~20 losses doing sieges (except Grunwalder Castle, which has been devised in hell by Satan itself).

Blame it on natural selection. Calradia is a tough place for looters, as they are hunter down by pretty much everyone, and now the Rhodoks compete in the business of cannon lance fodder. Thus the survival of the fittest.

I bought a serial when 0.903 came out or so. I would buy a boxed copy if not for Frodogorn. However, if they have plans to keep expanding the game for a little more after 1.0 (not only bug fixes, i mean more content), I will buy a boxed copy to show my appreciation.

Hidden in some point of the map, trying to put together some forces. They usually hide in the proximity of Yaragar. But you might have to go around a lot to find and chastise them all.
