Resolved [Beta Branch 1.4.3] Rescue Family Quest Ending

Context: After Completion of the Bandit Hideout in the Rescue Family Quest my brother Nozhon said that I was to go to Sibir, the nearest town to speak to him. There were two choices presented in letting Radagos live or die, after trying both the end result was still the same. Upon entering Sibir...

[Suggestion] Fief Decisions - A Claimant System?

I think that it would be interesting if they could implement a system where if a castle/town was recaptured by the previous faction it belonged to within a certain time-frame other lords would automatically vote in-favor of restoring lands to the previous owner, given they don't have negative...

Feif ownership votes are extremely broken

After pledging to Derthert of Vlandia
See - this was the first mistake you made

But in all seriousness, I think that it would be interesting if they could implement a system where if a castle/town was recaptured by the previous faction it belonged to within a certain time-frame other lords would automatically vote to restore lands to the previous owner, given they don't have negative relations with them. In my mind this would work similar to the CK II mechanic of having a strong claim over a title, and subsequent generations (or in this case after a certain amount of game days) where the land is not in your direct control the claim gets weaker and eventually disappears.

This sort of "claimant" type system for lands would at the very least ensure that when recaptured the player or whoever the previous lord of the fief was would at least be guaranteed a shot (being on the ballot) for getting their land back, and hopefully the ruler would consider all of these factors when making a decision.

The word "priority" is definitely not in the dev's dictionary...

Any type of software development of this magnitude usually comes with a work plan of some kind, and especially working from home they have to have some kind of internal document to know who is working on what and when they can be expected to be done with that.

Now I am not asking that they share that with us, that would be insane, but a general roadmap would be much appreciated and it would make reporting relevant bugs easier. Devs wouldn't really need to give anything to Callum, the outline you are talking of is already there (unless they are just letting everyone work on random things with no supervision, in which case we are all doomed  but I somehow doubt that is the case).

And yes I don't think that devs coming to answer in individual threads is a very efficient use of their time, it's part of why I am asking for this (it's awesome that they do that, don't get me wrong, but it's not their job). It's also really not uncommon to do this for EA titles.

    This.

In cases of Early Access Games, with bugs and fixes constantly flying around communication is really key. I feel that a large amount of the outrage (be it vocal minority or otherwise) stems from a general lack of knowledge of where things are headed. I know the whole team is probably swamped trying to get everything to work nicely, but as you said even a short list of goals or fixes in the works would be reassuring to a lot of people. This would also help certain players know what to keep an eye out for when trying to find bugs and would help players that aren't interested interacting with the non-refined aspects of the game just yet.

[Skirmish Mode] Crash on Connection to Servers

Screenshots that seems to occur when attempting to join multiplayer servers. NA East - 8:55pm - 4/29/2020 Basically what occurs here is both factions logos being whited out at the beginning of the warm-up phase with the timer stuck at 0-0. On either faction it shows that none of the other...

What is the mean about the word of Tactic's skill "simulations"???

Any battle listed as "simulation" simply refers to when you "Send troops" or what some people call "Auto resolve"

Adding Army attrition and exhaustion, improving the morale mechanic [Suggestion]

A few ideas popped into my head regarding how this mechanic could potentially work and what would need to be addressed in the current system:

I definitely like the idea of attrition and needing to rest on the map, granted that these waiting periods would be more dynamic and involving interacting with the army in some way (suggestions you posted are all good). The only potential problem that I could see here would be movement in relation to other lords on the campaign map. For example, if a large army has to wait in one place, how will they balance the current army cohesion stat, would cohesion increase for a well-rested and fed army? If someone had a small warband of say fifteen people and they were being pursued by ten pesky looters and suddenly had to take a break from walking would their attackers get a bonus to attacking them while they were camped or conversely defenders a bonus for being stationary and prepared? Could guards/watches be set? Would bands of looters actually have to stop and rest, or find some way to stock up on food to prevent starvation since they can't go into towns and just buy it? Overall a really interesting proposal, there are just some things that would require an alteration of a lot of moving parts and would need some balancing to work, but could be done!

    When is Bannerlord playable?

I'm really excited to play as my brother or kids I just have to figure out how to get myself killed...
If I remember correctly, it was quoted in another forum post that your character will eventually die of old age and the next in line (wife or kids generally) can take over. With death enabled supposedly your character can die as well, but I believe that part is not yet fully implemented.

    When is Bannerlord playable?

dynamic workshops LOL? What's dynamic about them? Viking Conquest has family trees.
The original poster asked which features were present in Bannerlord that weren't in Warband, so I assumed base game, not any add-on DLC. Dynamic workshops as in the amount of resource that is used by your workshop in the town where it exists actively affects how much gold it produces for you by the end of the day.

    When is Bannerlord playable?

I'm not the original poster but I can answer this one.

Things present in Bannerlord NOT in Warband:
Clans: Family trees, marriages that produce heirs, family influence tiers, the influence system in general, clans giving the player the ability to field multiple armies
Economy: The creation of caravans (two types of them now), more dynamic workshops (i.e. not just spamming dyeworks and tanneries), food stores per castle/town actually mattering
Castles/Town Upgrade: Different paths and upgrades that actually dynamically affect the castle and those garrisoning it. Food supplies actually mattering for the survival of a city under siege, etc.
Influence: Being able to get other lords to follow you and join your army reliably by spending influence points, Being able to vote on who gets the castle/town in a more dynamic way than just one (seemingly meaningless) vote per lord
Skill Tree: While these are not fully implemented at the moment there was no such tree in warband, just a matter of plugging points into skills every three levels, this system once fully implemented I feel has the potential to be much more dynamic than warband's
Death: Execution and death for both companions and other lords

I am surely missing a few features in this non-exhaustive list, but I believe it's fair to say that Bannerlord has plenty more features than Warband does. While not all of them are fully implemented/working at the moment, once they are and even in its current state Bannerlord is far more dynamic than the Vanilla Warband.

    In Progress [BUG/EXPLOIT] Character Height

    "Games Lost" is Missing?

I noticed earlier today that in the Multiplayer Lobby there is no longer a score or even trace of the "Games Lost" Personally I find this helpful in seeing my win/loss ratio to get a good idea of how I'm doing - is there any way to re-enable this?
