I have computer DELL G5 15, Nvidia GTX 1060 with max q design. 16gb RAM.

Even can play that game with very low settings, overheat and laggy every 7-10 sec. What is the problem can not understand.

I could not even play that game fluently in very low settings.

Please help me to fix it.

Have you installed the game on HDD or SSD?

@jus7ic3 that's a big culprit of your games bad performance, I suggest not bothering with the game until you can install in a SSD, I have seen the game ramp from laggy 10 FPS on minimum to 60 in medium/high settings just from that change alone.

@jus7ic3 Since you have 16GB of RAM you could try using some as a disk cache. Have a look at PrimoCache, there's a 30 day trial. Only allow it to do read-caching, not write! I've only just installed it so it's early days, but in theory it could bring faster load speeds across everything you do. That said, IMO there's somethine else wrong too if HDD performance is so poor.

I have installed on SSD disk but still can not play in high settings. sometimes freezing for a few seconds. Overheating.

@jus7ic3 I can give you some recommendations.
1) Disable v-sync in the settings
2) Set the frame limiter to less than frames than the frequency update of your screen. If 60, put 57 and so on.
3) Use the "fps monitor" program to understand if there is trotting or not. It is possible on a demo.

What is overheating, GPU or CPU or both? What are the CPU and GPU loads? On the face of it they should both be okay ... system cooling or power supply problem? I believe Dells are not always great in this area. Have you tried reducing display resolution as well as reducing quality settings?

I have reduced processor power used. Reduced it %70 from %100.
And fixed it. Now working in ultra settings without over heat

@jus7ic3 Then I suspect that either the CPU cooling or the system cooling may be inadequate, which has led to thermal throttling. Your solution will obviously cost you some of the performance that your CPU could deliver but at least it works now!
