Preparation is everything, or is it?

His slick video seems to be giving early traction.

Poor old BoJo just has to do what he does best - waffle for a living:

Never tread on a snake - Dominic got his revenge:

We may be getting too UK-centric, but here's my entry.

Also Sri Lankans rioted and invaded the president's palace, while he was filmed running with his suitcase to a military boat.
The country is ungovernable with all the hardship and debts, most prominently to China.
Any Sri Lankans here that want to share their stories?

What did in your opinion lead to this?

I worked a slightly-above-minimum wage teaching job for 3-4 years, spent that entire time looking for something else but hilariously it was one of the highest paying jobs in my area. I eventually found that I could do the exact same job in China but for more than double the pay, plus I would get to live on my own in pre-paid accomodation. It was a no-brainer, especially since I've been to china twice before anyway.

Have you considered jobs outside your area, with the exception of China? I'm pretty sure a talented guy like you can get a nice job in the UK, that doesn't involve furry commissions. Anyway, good luck in China and may your social credit score always rise.
Conservatives are so evil
Nasty is the correct word, as in The Nasty Party.

Jacob I'm sure you can get a remote gig that will pay well and won't require moving to a totalitarian regime, if you want to talk a bit further please PM me, I might be able to help!

@NPC99 Can you do a quick profile on Penii Murder-Aunt?

Penny incurred a forfeit back in 2014 for a "misdemeanour" during her Royal Navy training, which required her to say the word “cock” six times during a speech in the Commons. She demonstrated greater respect for her mates in the Navy than her role as minister in the House of Commons. However, no-one was present to listen as is often the case when the bars and tea rooms at the Houses of Parliament are full.

She was eliminated ninth from the 2014 reality TV show Splash. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splash!_(British_TV_series)

Penny was the first female Secretary of Defence until BoJo sacked her after 85 days.

Her PR team had to retrospectively edit out people who didn't want to appear in her leadership launch video. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...aign-video-edited_uk_62caf652e4b02e0ac91584b9

Thanks, the British people deserve a saucy woman to lead them to a saucier future.
She's the current favourite with party members outside Parliament https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politic...-mordaunt-clear-favourite-next-conservative-l

However, she seems to be another featherweight. https://www.irishnews.com/news/ukne..._leadership_contender_penny_mordaunt-2772364/
If true and she's elected, she'll be godsent for Labour's chances at the next general election.

Keir Starmer only has to fear Rishi and his own lunatic left Corbynites.

Belly flops are painful.

The Guardian and the EU agrees. However she could be the people's populist PM, like Boris.
“We are bracing [ourselves],” said one EU official. “Not because she’d be a tough interlocutor. Because her reputation is she is totally incompetent. And that won’t help.”
The former defence minister gained prominence in the 2016 EU referendum campaign when she made repeated false claims that the UK could not veto Turkey’s EU membership. She told LBC this week that she stood by those comments.
The MPs could back Rishi as the most competent, but the Tory base voting in the final is racist and won't fancy an Indian over a saucy middle-aged white woman that's fappable to the old gits voting. (67% to 28% in a head to head poll)
I hoped for Truss and her flavor of demented militant incompetence, just to see the UK burn, but that looks less likely now. There's still time though!
I do hope that regardless of who wins, they will all have fun trying to do adult things in public.

Penny now down the rankings, with the most likely scenario being Liz closely beating Rishi in the final (he is still an Indian, despite being warned). All rise for the mighty sociopathic cheese patriot Liz III. Labour wins!
Cheese is a religion:

PS Stinking Bishop cheese is by appointment to HRH the Prince of Wales - must be a nationalist conspiracy. Some suspect it was her cheese speech that forced Putin to put his nukes on special alert. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...s-nuclear-weapons_uk_621ccc20e4b03d0c803c3862

It's not looking good for Truss.
And in general the UK seems to be in a terrible political state with a complete lack of competent politicians, conservative or otherwise.

EDIT: Okay, she resigned.
Liz Truss didn't command a majority of conservative mps during the leadership contest. She bought her election by bribing tory party members with ludicrous and undeliverable promises. She is the architect of her own end, her party's collapse in popularity and serious economic damage to the country. The only upside is that the next prime minister will not be elected by the greedy, self-serving and idiotic 180,000 members of the conservative party.

EDIT looks like Sir Graham Brady is still talking about consulting the membership. The only way that can happen by 28th October is by offering a single candidate.
