When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Users who are viewing this thread

You can spectate people with insane scores in tdm and see that nobody is cheating. I've only encountered one cheater in two years of playing. What gave it away was he had bad aim and movement and was blocking every hit very fast with what looked like a tap block. He was bad in every way except having God tier blocking. I still beat him by hitting him when he held his attack for too long trying to aim it. Nobody is cheating except for the people asking the developers to make the game easier for them.
Today I played for an archer of the empire against a Valandian knight, he has a crown on his helmet. And again, arrows flew through it without causing damage! And in heavy armor, he runs faster than an archer with a fast running perk - do you want to say this is normal???

An ordinary insolent man answered

@777vda is quick to cry foul at bogus issues that aren't actually there, but he's scared to call out the red dot users.

That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about this thread.
I've been playing the game for a long time! And I like her! And unlike you, I want to make it better, without any bugs and abnormalities!

Give me his name I will find where he lives and tell him to stop cheating
But you are a humorist - it's funny)))

seriously who thought that a fully armored infantryman should run faster then a peasant without armor

please take out perks that change gameplay, no reason for this to be added to the series.

please make "perks" just different weapon selections
Seriously who think that trained up man with decades of experience can use it's equipment? That's stupid argument.

There are just no words - it's not just a stupid function, it's idiocy!!! Today I was playing as an archer with a fast running perk. I put my weapon away on purpose, but a knight caught up with me with a sword and a shield in his hands, ...!
That's feature. Shooting and running away is lame and should never be good tactics.

There isn't much "use" to encumbrance. Soldiers were trained to hold the line as good as possible, since the chances of surviving by winning a battle were greater than training how to run away from said battle.

Unless you're implying soldiers would train run with their armor for decades, in which case i hope their joints are made out of steel. Walking with weight builds strength and endurance, not running.

I'd say a peasant would outrun a professional soldier, yes.

Well, everyone has their own truth. Someone is satisfied with everything and is too lazy to change something, and someone wants there to be development, improvements. To each his own )

EDIT: Removed quoted post because it contained inappropriate language

Op sounds suspiciously familiar with his accusations...
You seem to know a lot of people, so you've already met with a similar situation. And as I understand it, you don't care, it's immediately obvious that you're a typical don't care...

If you were familiar with the strategy and history of wars, you would know that retreat tactics were very often used to weaken the enemy, to lure him into a trap

sir can i run this game atleast 30fps in a very lowest settings? i have intel celeron n4000, intel uhd graphics 600, 4gb ram, SSD
It's hard to say. My computer is more powerful, but even on it the game sometimes freezes. It used to be worse, now it's better. But the game is still very demanding on hardware.

It had nothing to do with going few steps backward, redrawing bow and trying to keep distance from attacking infantry.

lmao

Idk, this guy @777vda is just too scared to call them out.

He's scared to death, he's scared to look, he's shook. #shookone
Tell others about your cowardice. If you haven't realized what they're writing about here, well, not everyone can understand!

I see you haven't read the above. Even with the bow removed, sometimes a knight with a sword in his hands caught up. I tested it on purpose! And I have several times encountered a Vlandian knight who has a crown on his helmet. It was he who could always catch up, often sword strikes did not pass through him, arrows flew through him without damage. This was not an isolated incident!

The only act of cowardice here is creating a thread cleverly designed to draw the public's attention away from the fact that men are rampaging through the streets of Echerion, the Town Outskirts, and the Trading Post with red dot sights. They're completely running amok with their highly advanced optics! Yet you say nothing. I guess it's okay when it's not happening in your backyard, right?

You contradict yourself))) Because this topic is to draw attention to all the shortcomings in the game! And you wouldn't be here without this topic. A coward is someone who always walks away from problems, is afraid to voice them, so as not to work on them!!!

I have 1000+ hours in multiplayer, yet I do not remember encountering hackers (maybe there was a guy some months ago that who advertising cheats for the game, like typing a shady website in the chat). On the contrary, I have been accused numerous times of being a hacker, simply as I could handle 1v2 1v3 1v4 situations in TDM. Moreover, I have seen other "tryhards" = eg competitive skirmish player getting accused of hacking by TDM / Siege players.
If you are certain that someone is cheating, the best solution would be to start recording, then sharing with us / sending to TW

I'll try to write it down. If these are not special player cheats, but bugs in the game that other players can use, it's still necessary to deal with this!

when you choose a class look at its speed stat. Vlandian sergeant has 80 or 81 base speed but im pretty sure all archers have below 75. So you'll never be able to outrun an infantry troop on speed alone if you're playing archer

General Movement Speed Tiers:

Tier 1 (Light Inf w/ Athletic Perk) - (Heavy Inf w/ Melee Specialist Perk)
Tier 2 (Light Inf without Movement Perk) - (Heavy Inf without Movement Perk)
Tier 3 (Archers and Cav)

Hold W. Don't swing/look around, this slows your movement speed and prevents you from reaching max speed.

Protip: Hold tilde (`) to move the camera around while you're holding W running at max speed. I feel like I'm giving away trade secrets.
