warband features to bannerlord

i want feasts alliance system and recruiting lords like Warband as they join you in there on recruiting lords is so hard right now don't u agree guys?
 
Alliance wasn't in native warband, but I agree, all three would be nice. They at least need to do something more with recruiting lords, like say have a NPC in your Fief that can break down the standing of all the clans and show you who would be a good recruit or how to win them over (relation, money, capture their fiefs...) and then most importantly, send a messenger with an offer. This business of raising relation and impoverishing clans just to have them still always say "no thanks I'm happy living in a dumpster and you can't change my mind" is really bad and I think they mad it worse somehow over updates. Also I think when they change faction the AI just gets them for free, so either we should have some join us on their own too OR make the AI suffer like the player and pay 500k for each one and waste days walking around the map.
 
There are already feasts in Bannerlord but instead they're mobile rather than in a hall and called army. Want to hang with nobles? Join an army. Want to fight against them in a tourney? Wait until the army enters into a town to resupply, it's almost certain there's a tourney going on. Want to court with ladies? They're in the army with their own parties now. Want relationship boost with them? Gift them the two handers you craft. Once you farm enough influence, you can even summon them up to your own.

I know alliance system wasn't in warband it's just my op for Bannerlord and yes hop they do something big to recruiting system before game's full release

And they aren't a substitute for the roles feasts provided:

* Benefit to immersion. It added to the feeling of a real medieval world to see lords engaging in an activity that wasn't war 24/7.

* Something for the player to do to amuse themselves during peacetime by attending feasts or doing the quest to host their own, a roleplaying feature, which adds variety and breaks up the constant cycle of map > menu > battle > map > menu > battle.

* A way of easily finding a lot of lords and ladies (both combatants and non-combatants- the latter do not join armies in Bannerlord), to get quests from or marry, during peacetime too (armies aren't meant to form in Bannerlord in peacetime, though I haven't paid attention if they properly fixed it in 1.7).

* A non-combat way of gaining relations/influence in peacetime (particularly useful if you want to do a non-combat-focused playthrough as a trader, or a smooth-talking Charm specialist backstabbing politician).

Plus, feasts would make two features already developed (musician/conversation/dancing animations, and board games) more visible to the player.

Plus, feasts would make two features already developed (musician/conversation/dancing animations, and board games) more visible to the player.
If TWs were to put feasts back into the game as lazily as they introduced keep battles or prisoner rescue mission, i'd frankly prefer them not.
I never liked feasts in Warband either if they happened during war. All it did was bringing all fit-to-fight parties back to capital after a successful siege, so the faction who lost ground could easily take it back without an army gathering quickly enough to defend it.
During peace, I don't mind if they happen or not but may be a cool feature for many players, though first TWs need to implement the concept of peace. In my recent playthrough it's been over two decades that we've not had a single day of it.

Yeah, and what I call that the Calradian final feast, when I'm about done being a vassal and have a bunch of influence I just bring all the faction parties I can together to build me leadership and use up the influence while enemies wreak havoc all over, then when I'm finally done, disband, leave, BTFO out of all of them and drag them 2 feet to my town for ransoms!

This is important, they have relation and charm skill but few ways to use them, should be special interactions and mini events using these at feasts.

Nope, they're not fixed. They will still make an army during peace and instantly summon your clan parties. Sucks.

Bannerlord feasts should certainly take place just during peacetime.

Agreed. Factions simply should be less aggressive at declaring war or jumping on factions they perceive as weak; with the proviso that there's a "how long since last war" timer that makes war more likely the longer the faction has not fought anyone, so people don't start complaining about endless peace.

Sneaky, I love it. Feels appropriate rather than exploity as well.
This is important, they have relation and charm skill but few ways to use them, should be special interactions and mini events using these at feasts.
Perhaps a recycling of the conversation mechanic. Each guest can be talked to and you to a brief single-stage conversation where you have to impress them, and if you succeed you gain a nice little relation boost or renown increase.

Or a conversation where they ask you your stance on a certain other clan they dislike, and you can express dislike for that clan (raises your relations by +2 with the clan whose member you are talking to, lowers it by -2 with the other clan), do the opposite, or stay neutral

Prolonged peace is so rare I haven't been sure haha

I miss the marshal feature in warband, and wish it was implemented in bannerlord.

For example, having 2-3 marshals per faction, where everyone would vote for a new one, if necessary, and these marshals would only create armies, I feel like this would be less random and feels more organised. The king can order these armies to attack, defend and scout specific locations, depending on the situation.

+1 Having marshals simply be a perk is boring and unimersive, I keep saying this eveywhere but this game needs more interactions with lords/duels/courting/feasts/war council/tournament gatherings

And here I thought that the sole reason why you had a marshal in warband was to have someone your vassals could blame for their burned down villages, other than you:smile:
 
Just remembered some feature of Warband, sooooo, where are just common deserters on map, it could be more interesting fighting not only looters at early game when u r not in some kingdom
 
I liked the feature in Viking Conquests that let you build a temporary camp where you could leave troops etc. This is especially useful when you are just a mercenary, or don't have a keep.
