Perisno Mod Bug Reports

Users who are viewing this thread

I have a bit of a bugged quest here. This is from the adventurer guild's questline, "Revolution in Vinica". I have searched far and wide around the web, but nobody seems to have this problem with the quest. I've read the entire guide on it and a few people was stuck on another part of the quest, but this one is quite strange. Doesnt even let me start it properly.

In the start of the game, Count Baranius owns Vinica. but later on,quite early in fact, unlucky Tolrania gets defeated just as fast as Swadia in native. (around 120-150 days in, cant remember)

I recieve the quest by adventurers guild. Later on, Archduke Valthaauuinnon of Elintor recieves Vinica. The quest is "Talk to the owner of Vinica" I was a vassal of Elintor at the time, but when I talked to the lord, no dialogue option came about this. This is how i was stuck for another 150 days -

Fastforward, day 378. current time of my playthrough. Im a sovereign monarch, ruling over the entirety of: Geldar, Elintor, Tolrania, Venetor, and 80% of Hakkon Empire. In the start of my journey to conquer the realm, I made 2 companions a lord, one of which is Tylen, whom I later on gave Vinica. Lord Tylen owns vinica, but still, as you guessed, no dialogue option. But because the Elintor lord didnt have the dialogue option either, I dont think it's because it's a companion that owns the town. I think there can be 2 causes to this:
Tolrania must still be a faction, or
You must not be a vassal of a faction/ruler.

If anyone has completed this quest before, can you tell me what the situation was when you got the quest? thanks (:
Quests tab

Elintor lord Dialogue (Was a vassal of Elintor)

Characters tab of Elintor lord
(It's basically the same with Lord Tylen so i wont bother with screens)

In the mod options menu there are several options that don't matter if you disable or enable them, they always remain the default option, for example adventurer's guild, horse speed when damaged and some more.
Yup, noticed the same...
Adventurers Guild switch works for me but the companion complains isn't, everybody loves each other all the time, no matter how many times I switch it on/off...

On 1.0 if you buy something holding CTRL if you gets full inventory you continue to purchase but you dont get the item and lost money no matter how many items you buy they go to limbo and you lose a lot of money that way without any tip that you already are full.

Only buying from villages works OK like when youre full it stops you from buying anything.

I believe its a bug with the new buying interface since it only happens in towns where they use it and on villages where its native UI it doesnt.

CTD:S

Had this problem in 0.99 and it`s back in 1.01. The game CTD:s without warning. It maybe possible to load latest save a couple of times and it continues to CTD after playing a while but gives error info.
Now I cannot load affected save at all so I`d like to know if I still can access game log somehow to copy the error msgs?

Seeing as this happened after more than 840 days into a playthrough I`m somewhat demoralized...

Win7 64-bit.

That seems like save corruption. The chances of a save corrupting increase as the in-game days do.

Is there a way to:

- prevent this happening and/or

- cure the save in question by editing it?

If this is not possible I`ll have to give up on Perisno as losing so much time is not acceptable.

THX for your attn.,

I've had some very strange skyboxes, in both field and siege battles. Sometimes they appear or disappear based on my camera angle and whether I am zoomed in or not.

They look like this, hilarious but also nightmarish at times:

An earlier save such as 740 days might not be corrupt. If so, you can use the cheatmenu to restore quite a few things.

To prevent save corruption, it's often recommended to turn of auto-saving features in any game with saving anytime/anywhere. Corruption in Warband is also noticeable by balding NPC's, whose faces also shrink as they're reduced to default dummy NPC's. You can also research the memory leak issues about Warband for ways to delay inevitable bugs and corruptions that will always occur.

If your biggest concern is player stats and levels, loading a functioning save and exporting the character from the statistics page will allow for them to be imported to other saves if the other characters share the same name.

My biggest concern is that the campaign in question was going great so that`s why I want to continue. I have earlier saves so I will try to use cheatmenu.

Farming at a loss.

I sincerely hope this a bug and not WAD: Some of my acres started to generate losses after a while, some work at 0 margin. Why?
Also, I don`t see how/where I can sell or close down farmland.

The land generates losses if you "prepare new land" instead of just buying the available amount.

The siege scene of Forde is broken in the case when the defenders sally out. In that case, the last ladder, connecting the boat to a pier is missing and the defenders can't get to you. So it's shooting range.

I don't know if these were mentioned already, but here's a few current patch bugs/issues if anyone knows a solution/aware/correction:
(Computer: Windows User, offline)

Adventurer's guild quest: Revolution in Vinica
Bug: Omelian Kassap doesn't enter the town, after saying he'll enter and distract the gates for you. Instead, his party "follows" the player's party and disappears. The street fight event I heard of is not occurring.
Edit: Update: The scripting for some reason seems to be the error. The quest scripts incorrectly into "Crush the rebellion in [player's name]", instead of the supposedly "Crush the rebellion in Vinica". That's why the mercenary party is running into player's party.

Adventurer's guild requester: Earn extra gold missions
Bug?: Doing the Adventure: gold quest, leads you to finding the NPC that requests the quest. Sometimes they'll pop an "error?" message saying "Hah! This requires an escort" or something, and the quests gets remove/undo. Unless it's intended as a "fake" quest, which the dialog doesn't make sense.
Workaround: Reload for a different dialog.

Illica Falki Questline: Enemy not spawning
B
ug?: Enemy doesn't spawn.
If you have strong spotting skill, and search around A LOT, but still didn't find them, assume it's the bug and not them running.
Solution: Reload. They'll spawn properly within normal vision.
Similar: Adventure's requester task to kill warband harassing the town, missing = reload.

Mercenary Recruiter: Niborhood in Valleon
Bug: No spawn/event. I don't think it's similar to the Immortal Quest, because I don't see any tracks.

The game contains other bugs, like spawning issues, but these ones hurts because broken quest will stay on the log forever... excpet Adventurer's Guild "fake" requester, which is just a pain in confusion.

Yes. That is obvious, but thanks for the clarification on devs/modders no longer looking into on the game. Nibor and Illica aren't Adventure addons, but overall, just another buggy game

Temesin Castle doesn't exist anymore in the current build (v1.1.3). Consequently, its owner, Emir Najib of Drahara, is now fiefless.

edit: Furthermore, Visavo Hendrus of the Venetorans have switched allegiances to Tolrania despite Venetor not existing nor the Third Legion questline being triggered during my current playthrough.
