Also, design doesn't necessarily have to include anything more complex than the basics. Good design often consists of a few simple shapes anyway. Take Rationalism or the Bauhaus; their designs can be simple but stand the test of time. Vittorio Gregotti's work still functions well even decades later.
I was sort of joking. But the constant use of concrete is a bit annoying.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it looks horrible. That building you shared there looks like it's constipated or something
these are not brutalist, not made of concrete either. and 'squares and circles' is a quite broad description
