Is any of the music on some sort of a sound track?

I know the music may not be such a big deal, but some of it sounds like its from an old western iv seen...anyone have names or am i just imagining this

You know, I know the developers are doing the right job if it's making players think it may be from some old western movie. 

That's exactly the feel that the music is supposed to channel or represent. But no, none of it is actually from movie soundtracks, due to copyright reasons.
