whats are the best ranged wepon in this game?

what ranged wep would it make more  sense to invest points into

Umm crossbow? Because of the amazing repeater crossbow you get.

But since Guts (repeater) crossbow uses bullets it is a ''firearm'' so you have to invest into firearms (though that is not so necesary since you as Guts automaticly get firearm points when you get this weapon.

I did add a revolving crossbow as well.  Pretty good weapon.  Less ammo and speed but more damage a shot.  And throwing weapons got a large buff to damage and ammo in RotB.  Not to mention you could increase your powerthrow to lvl 15 if you wanted to.  Suddenly those 40 damage jarids are 150% stronger.(Which calculates to 100 damage a shot.)  If you wanted to be rediculous that would make the throwing war spears do 200 damage each.  But Gutts crossbow or a looted bakiraka assassin hand crossbow is always awesome and yes both are considered firearms.  I tried to make all the ranged weapons useful in some way.

Oo, Im going to make my non-gutt a throw character then

I would have made it a crossbow item but the animation it uses are from the itp_pistol weapon type.
