Whoa, this is nice! When was Polished Landscapes implemented? Suits me well for not following
It looks good, really like the 'new' snow scenes. That's how they should be:

I don't even mind the 'out of place' snow horizons:

Glitches can look good sometimes

Great work!

Polished Landscapes has been out for a month or so, I think.

[I also dont know very many finnish, polish/slavic and latvian/baltic names for the lords of those factions.

Oh, and dont complain about the Norse, Danish, Swedish and German names, they are translated to Old Norse, Old Swedish, Old Danish and Old German
(unless they are spelled wrong in the old languages)
Finland wasn't independent at that time. Some Swedish tribes/viking colonists and a few finno-ugrians had settled there. All nobles had swedish names until like mid 19th century or something.
Old norse was spoken in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Why are the names in 'Old Swedish' and 'Old Danish'?

Just thought I'd point that out since historical inaccuracy in a historical mod doesn't really sound good.

At that time, Finland was not a country, it was a lot of tribes, petty kingdoms or something like that, but i have just put all those together to one kingdom so they could have a chance.
The swedish colonized Finland in the 12th century.
And the old norse, old swedish and old danish translations all stands in my dictionary, but they remind of eachother. For an example: Market town = oldnorse Kaupungr, olddanish Køping(i),
oldswedish Köpunger

Amazing scenery, even more captivating with ROY and the map of Scandinavia!

Only problem is that there are many points on the map where AI stacks just stand still and cannot pass/move through. Also, there are many areas (and very large ones) with nothing. Perhaps it would be good to add more towns and such (unless the mod creator plans on adding new factions or something like that on the existing map).

Picture with one of the points where they get stuck:

The Finnish people migrated to Finland between the ice age and the 11th century or something. There were almost equally many nords due to a number of Swedish tribes and viking settlements. Also, the samis arrived to Finland before the nords/Finns. No faction for them?

Oh, I thought old Swedish and old Danish were from the 14th century or something. My apologies.

My two biggest complaints are the new animations and the map.
The new animations have been discussed a lot and I suppose it's a mater of taste.
But the many areas on the map where NPC's get stuck is very unfortunate.
Doing cattle herding or escorting caravans can be very difficult or even impossible.
(Especially the Danish belts is a place to get stuck).

Ive thought about removing the new animations, but idont know how to do it.
And about the map moving problems i am working on them but I only know about one of them. You need to report WHERE they are :!:

Okay then:

I've just circled the problem and hope you can tell where it is on the map.

Close to impossible to cross, especially getting a caravan across:

The triangle is impassable:

Caravans stuck:

Stuck (by Skara):

Stuck (between Öland and Gotland):

Stuck:

Other locations where you can't pass through:

1-) Near the Village of Wierland

stuckwierland.jpg

2-) This area near Turku seemed a bit strange

mapmess.jpg

3-) Stuck near Bjorgvin

stuckbjorgvin.jpg

4-) The area near Lethra has several unpasseable locations like this one (in addition to the one on my previous post)

stucksouthoflethra.jpg

5-) And this one

stucksoutheastoflethra.jpg

6-) Can't pass from Visby to Oesysla and from that to Visby

Hope this helps
