My fault there. I didn't finish up the Peasant troop lines before the latest release, so they're pretty ****e.mooncript said:what about that when u become king, you just get peasents, instead of the normal units?
Finland wasn't independent at that time. Some Swedish tribes/viking colonists and a few finno-ugrians had settled there. All nobles had swedish names until like mid 19th century or something.Temae said:[I also dont know very many finnish, polish/slavic and latvian/baltic names for the lords of those factions.
Oh, and dont complain about the Norse, Danish, Swedish and German names, they are translated to Old Norse, Old Swedish, Old Danish and Old German
(unless they are spelled wrong in the old languages)

Old norse was spoken in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Why are the names in 'Old Swedish' and 'Old Danish'?
Just thought I'd point that out since historical inaccuracy in a historical mod doesn't really sound good.
The Finnish people migrated to Finland between the ice age and the 11th century or something. There were almost equally many nords due to a number of Swedish tribes and viking settlements. Also, the samis arrived to Finland before the nords/Finns. No faction for them?Temae said:At that time, Finland was not a country, it was a lot of tribes, petty kingdoms or something like that, but i have just put all those together to one kingdom so they could have a chance.
Oh, I thought old Swedish and old Danish were from the 14th century or something. My apologies. The Swedish colonized Finland in the 12th century.
And the old Norse, old Swedish and old danish translations all stands in my dictionary, but they remind of eachother. For an example: Market town = oldnorse Kaupungr, olddanish Køping(i),
oldswedish Köpunger

The new animations have been discussed a lot and I suppose it's a mater of taste.
But the many areas on the map where NPC's get stuck is very unfortunate.
Doing cattle herding or escorting caravans can be very difficult or even impossible.
(Especially the Danish belts is a place to get stuck).
