I would like to sign up for the development team. To be
honest, I'm not a man of great coding, skinning and modeling.
While I'm not good in the things listed above I could help with
the Historical aspects of the game. I'm not an expert of the 80
Years War but I can ask my colleagues at the Historical society
of Maastricht (Limburg,The Netherlands) about the role of Limburg
and her cities/villages and people. I also can help with bringing the map
of 16th - 17th century Duchy Of Limburg.
I also noticed that a lot of developers are Dutch speaking.
My major language is English, but I lived in Belgium for over 5
years and now i live in The Netherlands,so I'm able to understand
and speak a good word in Dutch.
We can use all the help with historical aspects. Jezze is on a holiday atm. But i can give you little assignment to help me out. I try to make more armors. So if you can bring me some reference picture of the cloth the ware and the armor used. You would help me allot.
Second can you find pictures of battle ships that they used.

Thanks for your reply Renkoo,I will search for the info you need
Notice that I study 16th and 17th century history since a few months
and it sometimes will take a time to find some proper information,it sometimes
can take a few day for a very complicated question,so I have to go a library
or other places what contain information. Maritime history is always been my
worst point in history but I'm going to try to find useful information.
Marine Ships (small info,I try to find more soon)
I found a picture of a Dutch war ship for Holland (see flag)
ramming 2 Spanish galleys during the war.
Translation description "Northern-Dutch ships ramming Spanish galleys
at the Flemish coast in october 1602. Made by Hendrick Corneliszoon Vroom in 1617"
Maybe you can find some information about the tactics and battles during the
period on this site
About the armors,I have pretty good source to get what you need. I will
upload the pictures and descriptions soon. Notice that I'm away this Friday
till Sunday and I don't have pretty much time this week with school and work
But no worries my lad,you will get the information
