Some of you guys might remember the armour which was based on the Marksdwarf illustration I made quite a long while ago. The illustration itself was loosely inspired from an Argentinian MMOG I used to waste time in (usually by lagging). So here's the whole set based on that illustration available for your download.

Install notes:
1. Unzip the BRF file into your mod's resource folder, the DDS files into the mod's textures folder.
2. Load the BRF in the module.ini by adding this line at the bottom:
Code:
load_mod_resource = amade_bronzewarrior
3. Use the Module System to add new items that use the mesh, or replace the mesh for existing items. You may also use the itemEditor to add/replace items in compiled mods.
4. ???
5. Profit!!!

Usage terms:

None whatsoever. Just use it if you like.

For some reason I like bronze a lot. Steel is superior of course, and probably cheaper than bronze. But this isn't a historically accurate medieval armour (somewhat semi-fantasy I suppose) so I just stuck with bronze. The full set includes:

  • 1 Bronze Breastplate + female version.
  • 1 Bbronze Winged Helm.
  • 1 pair of Bronze Gauntlets (original game mesh retextured + new cuffs).
  • 1 pair of Bronze Greaves.
  • 1 Latticed Flatbow.
  • 1 Leather Quiver w/ Bronze Arrows.
  • 1 Iron War Hatchet w/ belt clip (carry mesh, itcf_carry_quiver_right_vertical). Suggested weapon length: 45. You can make up for its small reach by giving it high damage or very fast speed.

You can call the items whatever you like, it doesn't have to be Bronze Breastplate, etc. Could also be gold although gold armor is a)expensive b)useless. All models have 2 LoDs assigned to them.

Nitpicks on the model/textures are appreciated.

Great stuff! already downloaded.

Ps: werent you working on an all female version of the model too?

Just the breastplate, it's vertex animated. So if you put it on a female character it will automatically use the female's mesh which is a roomier breastplate with wider hips, narrower shoulders. See the rightmost part of the image in the first link of screenshots.

eh i know that much... I guess im wrong, but i had the impression you had an *all female mesh*.

If we could vertex animate all other parts of armour so that it corresponds to gender/race I'd definitely do that
But no, I didn't make a gender specific version of this armor, sorry.

oh well my bad then. Maybe you should do an all female version just because. *hint* lol.

Very good! Thanks for sharing with the community.
For those who may not know how to get these beautiful items to the game, you can look at this tutorial:
http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=77043.msg1999688

idk that tutorial is way too long and hard to find things in. much shorter and to the point tutorials around

so they're finally out... yay! awesome work! the screenshots look very promising and someone with your skills and knowledge in and around Blender, I bet the rigging and positioning of this armor is close to perfection!

Will download this soon, got no time atm

Keep 'em coming!

beautifully done, amade, thank you very much for sharing.  i have no skills with any graphics\photo programs, so my modding relies on the graciousness of talented folks like you to improve the weapons, armor and other items available in-game.  i, too, love the bronze... some can be called gilded, rather than gold, thus allowing the imagination to call the item gilded steel, etc.  works for me anyway.
  thanks again,
  regards,
talon
